yes, if avoid it. My little teenage heart was shattered when I finally got to suck face with a guy I'd crushed since I was little, only to discover that it was essentially like licking ash tray. Between that and growing up with a parent that smokes, I don't think I'd let myself fall for someone who smoked.

I never cried but I remember asking my friend for a cigarette and she responded with "No, I'm not going to promote your habit." As she was smoking. The anger this filled me with I can still feel.

Another time I was eating French fries, minding my own beezwax, and my brother sees this and starts lecturing me about how dangerous that kind of food is because it has all kinds of artificial substances and carcinogens in them. Then, no fucking joke, he lights a cigarette.

Anyway, smoking is stupid and I'm glad it's kinda going away.

As an adult I would not start a relationship with someone that smoked. The smell and the taste is yucky to me. Younger me thought it was cool for a summer but I could never get over kissing an ashtray.
