What is the spread and in who's favor? Over/under?
My guess would be 49ers and the over under 26.
But I wouldn't put money on it. It is only 2 teams but worse than a horse race.
Haven't seen the odds yet, because I don't bet on other humans. I would imagine the over/under is much higher than 26.

Ah yes. That was only part of the math. I was thinking the winning team would have 26 points or more to win. three touchdowns and a field goal or safety....
Which is why I asked. Should not have supposed. It does not matter how long I read the days past performances when at the track either. Is there still off track betting where you are? Or is you not PA?

I'm in KC. The dog track was all the rage here years ago. Ton of fun going out there and having cocktails and dinner while you're watching the Greyhounds race. Actually a pretty upper crust affair. I think the tracks went out of business years ago, though.

I learned of horse racing one night totally bored out of our minds at a bar I could walk to in Cherry Hill NJ. Long enough ago that it fits this old people place. Jersey Park is long gone now. It is a Wegman's Grocery store now. Those races were with the two wheel buggy but you could bet pretty much any race going on satellite. Over the years I had some nice hits on superfecta's 2500 to the big one 26k. That first night the drunk that took me bet all he had in no time. Borrowed some money and two races later had 1700$, which I would have paid back and pocketed the rest. The said no when he tried to pay him back and put the whole thing on a loser horse like 50-1. 65k. He added two lift back heavy trucks to his business and more than doubled his income. I still feel like I never win anything.
I also remember those days I smoked and did enjoy almost chain smoking and drinking. I liked visiting Delaware Park. Back then after the race the trainers would be walking the horse off letting it relax and back to normal after the run. Horses are cool. The trainers were usually women and farm women are just HOT!

SF is favored by 2.5. The line will likely move based on betting trends. But yes, the Niners are currently giving the Chiefs 2.5 points

I went the tracks in Overland Park a few time. I always liked dog racing more then horse racing.

0 for 2, fortunately. I actually expected the Ravens to finally beat my Chiefs, that was a hell of a game. And I was really pulling for the Lions. Thought they had that one wrapped up at halftime. Not sure how many people wanted to see another Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl. And I expect everyone outside of Kansas City will be rooting for the Niners.
Not everyone! I'll be here watching PM!

I caught a baby in the er bathroom in the middle of the night.... baby and mom were fine.... mom was a pro and calm as a cucumber ...dad was not
The men usually aren't!

I had a grampa at the baby's bedside when I was putting in an IV. He fainted dead away and hit his head on the floor before anyone could catch him. Code team was surprised to respond to an adult code in the NICU!

We have deer that eat our roses. I don't care. I love seeing them in the yard!
Now I can't remember what we called roses. Hosta was deer salad. We would wager on how long they would last after they came up.

Roses must be good. The get the whole bud at once. It must burst with juicy flavor when they bite down on it.

I planted some red maple I started from seeds. They ate the new growth year after year. We had two red maple bushes in the front yard. Last time I went by there they were about 30 feet across close to the ground. I tried trimming a maple at this house but it did not have the same effect.

On the tree line out back I trim as high as I can reach with clippers. It is not as high as a deer standing on its hind legs. But I like the straight line and height above my head. Looks uniform. Haven't seen a deer back there for 9 years or so.

My roses are big enough to stand the annual pruning by the moose. But, it took 5 years for them to get big enough. And in those 5 years, they were protected by wire fencing. I could give a damn if the moose are in the yard, they are just dangerous. The bears are too, but they can be cool.

I used to make everyone sit down because I had enough to do on top of a report on why 3 people passed out and hit the floor....hahaha

Do moose poop in the yard? I bet you have to mow around that. hahaha

Don't seem to eat our hosta. Or the ferns. They REALLY like the roses!

I haven't seen a bear here. We're semi-rural so there's lots of wildlife. I love watching the eagles and osprey over the lake.
