I agree. Pencil skirts are so versatile for work and pleasure. I wear them to work quite a bit because they generally look quite flattering on me because I'm tall and leggy (and basically have the figure of a pencil too LOL!)

I wear a pencil skirt almost every day for work. I love the look and style.

My basic look in winter in my younger daze - crop top and torn jeans - although I usually preferred black jeans with some band name or bar/club name on my shirt. I also didn't have the $$$ for such cute shoes so I generally went with unlaced combat boots. So yeah, like I said, completely different lol

When my wife wears these retro outfits, the hardest part is actually the hairstyles that match. They are hard to replicate and take a lot of time! But well worth the effort.
