Basements. Is it even close?
Don’t lie and the answer is….it depends, but American Horror Story definitely made a case for basements
I agree attics can be creepy. Black Christmas and Shallow Grave have taught me that. But nothing good ever happens underground. Fuck dwarves. We rarely have basements in the UK. And we'd call them cellars.
Unless they are new ones that have movie theatres in or gyms and the like
So basement seems to be where someone is pushed down the steps, tied up on a chair and held hostage, or there's a freezer with a dead body in it next to the deer carcass...
Attics are sunny places.. unless they aren't. Think Flowers in the Attic.. or the creepy chest opening.
Both are fucked up and thankfully... mostly over where you lot live.
Nice, what did you have in mind?I would love to do this.
Who knew Snow White was such a prude?
I'm not a very well-traveled girl. But the idea of visiting beautiful and historic cathedrals and other places of worship around the world sounds lovely.Nice, what did you have in mind?
I’m willing to risk excommunication!![]()
Whether one is spiritual or not there’s something about that very human connection of faith that crosses cultures and times that is…humbling and beautiful.I'm not a very well-traveled girl. Ahem. England and Europe.I'm not a very well-traveled girl. But the idea of visiting beautiful and historic cathedrals and other places of worship around the world sounds lovely.
I guess it depends on what the space is used for. My bedroom is in our attic space, and it's perfect. But I don't like going into our dark, crowded basement alone.
It is! I would also add libraries to my list. The ones that are majestic but still so peaceful.Whether one is spiritual or not there’s something about that very human connection of faith that crosses cultures and times that is…humbling and beautiful.
I knew you were a smart cookie.I guess it depends on what the space is used for. My bedroom is in our attic space, and it's perfect. But I don't like going into our dark, crowded basement alone.
Have we met? Do I know you?You know I’m right here right?
Very similar vibe of connected human experience I agree completely. It is! I would also add libraries to my list. The ones that are majestic but still so peaceful.
