Don't rub it in, my cousin lives in the Studio City area (I don't know LA, other than the Getty, the Ford, and his house) He just LOVES to send me his weather forecast. I.like to remind him that we have good/cheap water & less bugs!

The water in the parts of LA I've lived has always been good My current city gets it from Artesian wells and my nephew from OC claims it's sooooo much better than the northern OC water districts he grew up in though

Some, but not nearly as many or as big and invasive as Florida! Their bugs are nightmare fuel

Does LA have bugs?

Mosquitos & cockroaches. We have few mosquitos and zero cockroaches.

Last time I was there, a cockroach just waltzed out onto the sidewalk, crossed it & into the storm drain. The only other place I've seen cockroaches in broad daylight is Costa Rica.

Mosquitos don't like me, but my spouse get eaten alive when we visit in the summer

I'm I high desert, lava hot dry heat in the summer and into the negative teens in winter. Bugs die off, it's fabulous!
