Have you tried waking up about 45 minutes before she does, and taking the pill then? I find that is when my wife is most receptive.
Of course, if your wife has to have breakfast first, that won't work.
 
I am 61, and my sex drive is as strong as it ever was… so far as partners go I haven’t turned down a potential partner because they were too old, but I suspect I’ve been turned down by some because of my age (and other factors too).
