**Confessions of a Wife**

I'm not 100 per cent sure I understand your post so forgive me if I misread.

If the question is "don't be in a relationship if you cheat" then whilst I understand the sentiment it opens up a can if worms to people as cheating means different things to different people.

Yes, I cheated. Would I leave my husband? No. Why not?

Because I believe no matter who you are with there is a chance that routine and the pressures of everyday life brings an escape route.

People don't have to choose that route. I can only speak from my experience, which has been mixed but overall, and I won't apologise for this any longer, it's brought me some excitement that I've not experienced in years.

If that's wrong, I accept that.
Sorry if I made my point badly, I was mainly saying “Why do some people put breaking the ‘cheating’ vow at a higher level than the ‘love’ vow, or the other vows

Logically one shouldn’t be able to say cheat = reprehensible but fall out of love = ok

Personally, I’m in the “you’re a long time dead’, make your own choices to get through life, try not to hurt anyone, and don’t judge others choices - you haven’t got all the nuanced facts camp

So kinda similar to you, by the looks

So you're here on a website that offers erotic fiction, to make sense of your cheating?

Honestly and I don't mean this is a condescending way, I'm confused because it sounds like you've posted something that reads a bit like another story, (and you're certainly not the first to do this in the forums here.) and either looking for a way of making sense of what you did, or are unintentionally attracting the attention of the peanut gallery. If I wanted to get feedback on infidelity, I'm not sure I'd look on a site like this.

Either way, I hope things work out for you.
Thanks for your post.

I'm sorry this thread doesn't seem to be for you...

P.s I'm happy that your chose my thread to be your 5th post ever. Much love.

It's actually okay not to have an opinion on something. If something doesn't make sense to me....I don't comment

......and move on .

Opel fruits changing their name to starburst......didn't make sense....but I moved on.

Mars changing their name to snickers...didn't make sense to me ....but hey ho....I moved on.

Didn't bat an eye lid if I'm honest.

Didn't effect me.....didn't really care.

Careful, you're now wandering to dangerous territory with candy preferences;-)

Back a few years ago there was a study done indicating Americans actually spoke more proper English. This really means that evolves more slowly here.

Thanks you your response.

I don't really know if im honest.

I suspect that falling out of love is far more common than society leads us to believe.

In fact, id argue, that only a small percentage of men here actually have the blessing of their wives, I'm talking less than 10%

My husband doesn't know I'm here.

I think maybe there is a case for vows to be re written.....

"..I promise to love and respect you.....but I will be masturbating over different women/ and engaging in sex forums as this isn't actually cheating."......

better is stating superior where more proper is adherence to standards
Ah.

Ok ...

So....

If a referee was an excellent referee and adhered to all the rules of the game.....he would therefore be a "more proper referee" than the other one.

Got it.

Thanks.

If he were (when stating something contrary to fact or a wish unfulfilled use the subjunctive mood). The referee would both be both more proper and better because adherence to rules is his job. More proper English isn't necessarily better.

Would you ever use the term this referee is more proper than last week's referee?

Or would you say this referee is better than last week's referee?

I'm not actually having a go, I'm just interested in your viewpoint. I just found your use of words baffling. And this is from someone who doesn't talk with alot of Americans.

So if using " more proper " is acceptable in the context we have been speaking in america ......that's fine. I'm not the English police. I just know that my grandmother would tell me I'm wrong in England. That's all.

I accept that things , especially languages, have a tendency to evolve.

Just like starburst and snickers I will move on❤️

Probably not. In fact Anglo Saxon mono syllables are the proper terms for referees;-)

Actually, I feel like this thread has been somewhat derailed.

There are probably some dudes, pants round their ankles, cock in hand, trying to wank over the proper (or better 🤔) use of the English language....

So let's actually leave this thread alone. Pm me to discuss if you want.

As for the for rest of you waiting on the next installment, might be Monday as tomorrow I havea full day of clearing out the garage and multiple trips to the skip planned.....not so sexy but true!

Sorry it was marathon (which was a great name) changed to snickers and yes I haven’t moved on from it. 😀
