I think it’s more complicated than that in real life. Marriage also contain promises to love each other, care for each other, and other similar things. It’s not considered to be a morally reprehensible thing. If we simply fall out of love or stop worshipping the ground than the other person walks in

From what you said , you and your husband have grown apart, and you seem a very nice and balanced person. You haven’t said anything untoward about your husband either, just that you have grown apart and your life, aims and goals and so aligned any more

Sorry for the long rambling response, but whilst I understand cheating is wrong, why is it that some people hold that promise above all of the other promises?

It’s sad that things don’t seem to be working out for you in your Larry B, I’ve come to think that Life is quite short, and what does anyone get die staying in an unhappy marriage, if they are gaining nothing from being there?

It used to be a thing for the big downtown law firms here to hire a receptionist with an English accent. I think you will find people on most of the voice threads talk of their love of accents. Given the American majority on this site, a lot of them will love an English accent. I suppose an American accent might be loved there, though with all of the media coming out of here, you probably get enough of it.

One of the oddest things I've found is that a bunch of people like a Boston (USA) accent, and I'm one of the rare Bostonians with nearly no trace of it. OTOH people seem to like my voice and call it an NPR voice (equivalent of BBC announcers).
