For some reason that I was never able to figure out, just about every time I got into my Honda, the Bluetooth would pick up my Apple Music and default to the first song, alphabetically, in my library. 9/10 times I’d hit shuffle or select a playlist, but that first song always got ‘a play’. Therefore, according to Apple Music, this is my most played song for 2023 (and 2022, 2021, and 2020 which is when I downloaded it.)

I wonder a lot about how this song was just you know, a song, in heavy rotation on local L.A. radio back in the day. No real backlash or nothing. But oh man the grievance YouTubes and TikTok’s it’s generate today. Wild how the world has changed
