Kamala Harris. Running as the incumbent on Biden's record she'd easily trounce whoever the Republicans put up.

Perhaps the only thing Harris has against her is after 3 years in office she is still an unknown. While most VPs are unknown till they run for president Harris has been even more in the shadows than others I remember.. What I'm saying everyone knew who Dan Quaye, Al Gore, Dick Chaney, Mike Pence were and what they stood for before they ran for president.... Harris not so much..

Would she win over Trump I think so especially if things continue to improve.. Would she win against anyone but Trump I just don't know how well she'd do in the dirty game of politics. When it comes to republicans and playing dirty politics they have had a lot of practice.

Good point... If both Trump and Biden drop dead tomorrow, I believe Nikki Haley and Chris Christie would be the frontrunners for the republicans. Between those two Haley would probably get the nomination.. Would she win against Harris I don't know...

Without Trump, I believe the republicans would have a much better chance.. They wouldn't spend half their time defending the crazy ass shit he keeps saying. While a small percentage eat that stuff up the majority of republicans just wish he'd keep his mouth shut.. And spend far too much time spinning what he says, saying what he meant to say is ..... not what he actually said.

Harris, would have the advantage of just playing back tapes of Trump for political ads.

Biden's policies seem to be improving things so far.. However, there is still almost a year for things to go south... Another pandemic, a depression, anything could happen between now and then to sour people on the current administration... We must also remember that Biden has yet to fulfill his campaign promises: loan forgiveness, healthcare plan, block fracking on federal lands, create pathway to citizenship, repeal the Hyde Amendment etc.... Those broken promises will fall on Harris's shoulders..

My life of watching the political landscape, especially since Obama, has been riddled with weekly projections of doom for whatever activity the democratic party or its president does. Will Obama survive this? The numbers don’t favor Biden in this or that. Meanwhile, we watched a republican president get reelected after the worst civilian security failure in American history. Watched him lie America and its allies into a war. Watch the whole Republican Party promise some replaced healthcare plan. Then watched the next republican president neglect the countrys welfare to the tune of 400k deaths under his watch and fail in every single promise he made on the stump except making the rich richer. But sure, let’s talk about Biden’s bike and Obama’s tan suit.

There is but one functioning political party in America and it is flawed and sometimes is distracted in its pursuit of its goals, but it’s leaders have real accomplishments to tout. The other has wa wannabe king and was a leaderless House dumpster fire that, by design, just presided over the least productive congress. It’s a toss up though who America should back.

I think America is ready, Hillary didn't do all that bad she won the popular vote she just didn't win the right states. Trump win for two reasons one no one wanted another Clinton in office. Second he was able to get people out to vote that usually don't in the states that mattered.

As for Harris/Buttigeig personally I think that too much minority. Politics are old rich white guys bidding for power its been that way since 1780.. While Harris and some old rich white guy could win, or Buttigeig and some old rich white guy could win.. You need someone who apperals the the majority of Liberals and then have someone like Harris or Buttigeig to appeal to those liberals who feel under represented..

Harris also has the problem of defending Biden's policies. While Biden's presidency hasn't been bad he failed to bring to fruition many of his promises so Harris has to try to convince people she will actually build the border wall, will bring about student loan forgiveness, and actually come up with and affordable healthcare plan etc... That will be a hard sell the second time around..

DeSantis has a lot of problems he signed and abortion ban without an exceptions for rape, incest or the health of the mother, has said slavery was actually a good thing for everyone involved, campaign aid making ads using Nazi symbols, He also changed the law to make it significantly more difficult for teacher unions to remain certified, claimed that there was “no need” for the Respect For Marriage Act etc... He's busy pissing off by republicans and democrats...

Court actions against Kari Lake are mounting in politics you can usually say whatever you wish about your opponents and get away with it, but since Trump jumped the shark on that endeavor people are saying enough.. Her “a corrupt, stolen election” on multiple occasions. It didn’t go down well in Arizona and is wearing thin on the American as a whole, that's her whole campaign strategy..
