While all of us can concede that ALL firearms are dangerous, the notion that a design that is in the hands of millions of people is unusual is ludicrous. It's not surprising that the above post would come from Rory.

First of all it was posted as if we in the firearm community were ignorant of the ruling, we aren't.

As a matter of fact the ruling was expected and, actually, celebrated. It sets up a case that the Supreme Court is going to hear, and rule on. Meaning that the 'fat lady' hasn't sung yet. As usual, Rory ejaculates prematurely.

As we have seen demonstrated over and over again in this thread, there is a considerable group of posters who have little to no idea about firearms or things related to them. They are prone to clutch at straws, leap to conclusions, and to make sweeping generalizations about "weapons of war" and "asault this" and "assault that" like they have half a fucking clue.


Firearms cause crime? And flies cause garbage. Keyboards cause spelling errors. Spoons cause fat asses. All are falsely drawn "conclusions." Hell, using the language from the edict and the thinking that gets one there, electric cars are "dangerous and unusual."


And here I am posting in the presence of an AR. It is obviously defective as it didn't kill me in my sleep. But there's hope for the Litlib in the belief that There's Always Tomorrow . . . .

There's great responsibility with owning a gun. A person who owns one should be able to meet the lowest of bars in answering fuckin basic questions and not put forth their argument in memes. You can't do that.

I put forth the argument that Native Americans acquired access to guns far too late in their struggles against encroaching settlers to make a difference. Thank you for the well wishes. I hope you and, well, I don't think you have any loving family, but I do hope you find some self of peace during these holidays. A lot of people are depressed during these times and suicide is a real concern. I never wish that on anyone so I hope, in your loneliness you don't do anything rash. I don't like you but I very much enjoy kicking your ass on the daily so I need you around for a long, long time.

Just for the record. The 25-06 134 gr. bullet launched at 2950 fps drops 172" @ 1000 yds with a 300 yd zero.

A thought came to me the other day. I wonder if they make an '03A3 barrel in .25-'06? I do have that one rifle (of the 2) that has a sewer pipe for a barrel, and it would hurt less to add another caliber by this method.
