I don't really use music for this purpose but I think I have a feel for the vibe they are looking for. So the first song that came to mind was the absolutely brilliant ballad Reconsider Me by Warren Zevon (which I won't post today because thr revolt is still in the planning stages).
I absolutely love this band and I have been neglecting them both in my personal listening and here. This seemed appropriate:
