How about maybe something like, “Well, seems as if the troll has found themselves - under bridge?” It’s hackey, yeah, but a more relevant starting place.

We do have a nice creek at the bottom of one hill. I've thought that a pig waller might come in handy from time to time.

Researching a scope for the new 6.5 upper. I think that we'll pretend that it's 1000-yard capable and glass it from there.

Up to a point it works. Back in the days when I was getting paid to shoot I had two scopes, both were Unertl's one in 20 power and the other in 30. The 30 was just too damn much. A fly landing on my heel would cause the crosshairs to vibrate. Some folks handled the 30 power with no issues. <shrug> And that's the reason I've settled on the 6x24x50. Point being that there is such a thing as too much magnification.

The antler rats will be totally safe from Wat this year. Which reminds me, I missed my old company's bird hunt three weeks ago. Maybe it's because I don't work there any more and wasn't invited.
