A top Hamas official suggested during an interview with Lebanese media this week that a terrorist attack larger than Hamas’ October 7 massacre was in the works and would happen in the not so distant future.

Osama Hamdan, who is in the terrorist organization’s Political Bureau, said on Wednesday that the terrorist organization had no regrets over murdering 1,200 Israelis and that a “war of liberation” was coming.

In the interview, which was transcribed by the Middle East Media Research Institute, the interviewer asked Hamdan, “If you could go back in time to October 6, would you still do what you did on October 7?”

“Why would some people assume that we would go back on our acts of resistance?” Hamdan responded.

If, after all this, Palestine isn't self-governing (without hamas) and there's not a 2-state deal, the only thing that's changed is the death tolls. Will it come down to other nations having to broker a deal to split the land like before? look where that got them

Arab leaders are privately siding with Israel against Hamas, even if some are publicly condemning the operation in Gaza as endangering innocent civilians who refuse to leave or are being forced to stay, Haaretz reported this week.

Arab leaders are ultimately viewing Hamas as a "dangerous domestic enemy" on their lands, so they are urging Israel to keep fighting in Gaza after the operation to return hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7, according to the report.

"Publicly, some of them [like Egypt and Jordan] are falling in line with public opinion in their countries and condemning the civilian deaths caused by Israel's military response," Haaretz's Amos Harrel wrote in his analysis of the expiring cease-fire Thursday.

"But behind the scenes, almost every leader in the region, including in most of the Gulf states, is urging Israel to end the war only after Hamas is defeated, since they view the organization as a dangerous domestic enemy."

Troops in Gaza find dozens of rockets under UNRWA boxes​

The Israel Defense Forces says troops operating in the northern Gaza Strip have located dozens of rockets hidden under boxes with UNRWA markings in a residential home, and other weaponry belonging to Hamas.

Troops of the 7007th Reserve Battalion were searching a home in a neighborhood when they found a room full of boxes bearing the logo of the UN agency that supports Palestinian refugees.

Underneath the boxes, dozens of rockets, mortars and other explosives were found, the IDF says.

Separately, troops of the 414th combat intelligence collection unit operating in a home in northern Gaza found grenades, weapon parts and other military equipment inside a child’s bedroom, the IDF says.
