So my feelings aren’t hurt that santos was expelled after all his zany bullshit. But I would also support him not being expelled and put in a box where he couldn’t really do anything. It‘s some serious shit. The last two guys who were expelled were convicted of a crime prior to their expulsion.

Not a one vote from a democrat was ever needed to get this liar from congress. If you were ever really honest with the situation then it would be clear the reason why Republicans didn’t get rid of him sooner. Santos’s vote was needed to insure their razor thin majority. That is until republicans, calculating in the long, out of session, holidays and the fact that Johnson was able to kick a funding plan down the road until February(??) that santos was now expendable. Know that and you’ll maybe, possibly be on the road to understanding House republican obstructionism and why you mistakenly feel Biden and democrats have offered up nothing in policy to help Americans.

I said I hated beating a dead horse. You and I fundamentally disagree on how we believe the D's voted on the speakership.
I don't care to address that anymore. I will answer to the criticism of me not being overly critical of democrats. To that, I am going to say that I am mostly guilty, but with a strong and persuasive caveat: I have my eyes on the prize. I am a sexual and racial minority in this country and I watched as the current leading republican nominee almost succeeded in stopping the transfer peaceful of power and has promised, on numerous occasions, that he intends on establishing an authoritarian government. I've no time for quibbling on democratic waffling or misdeeds - that's for another time and another place to argue. Right now, my life, this country, faces an arsonist trying to burn it down. I expect pushback from conservatives in convincing that this is also NOT in their best interests - it's frustrating conversing with you, who I have no desire to argue with, just as hold back on criticizing democrats.

Matt Gaetz came up with an excellent reason why Santos should not be expelled. 'We have another GOP criminal Duncan Hunter and he wasn't expelled from Congress'.

It isn't clear whether Pizza Gaetz is referring to Duncan L. Hunter (R) convicted of using campaign funds on having affairs with various mistresses or his son Duncan D. Hunter (R) convicted of wire fraud and defrauding campaign funds. At least he spent the cash with his wife who was also convicted. They had enough left over to purchase a pardon from Cheeto so it all turned out OK in the end.

People that argue due process should call their reps and make their voices heard.....Congress is not a judicial branch and is ruled by politics.
