Henry Kissinger dead

He was not a good American. But by today's standards...he was a saint

"I don't wish death for anyone, but I read some obituaries with more pleasure than others." - Mark Twain

It's worth noting that Henry Kissinger vehemently opposed the Camp David Accords, which have made for a tenuous peace between Israel and Egypt for 45 years now.

History has shown that Kissinger was 100% wrong is his observations now, but at the time his words had a tremendous impact on the general public.

"For Israel to live, Carter must go".

Any country with any global significance / influence had / has a Kissinger.

A necessary "evil" ???

🤔

I hope he has to carry his own rock around to stand on in some on fire, fucked up dimension.

This time last year former Chinese president Jiang Zemin died at nearly 100 years old, and now Kissinger died as a centinary. It is not easy for anyone to live so long and the legacy of such people should be given the proper respect and studied fully and deeply because these two persons are great in promoting the mutual understanding and tolerance of China and America. President Jiang could effortlessly recited from his memory the full text of Gettysburg Address in its original before the American audience, perhaps Bill Clinton or Donald Trump could not do so, nor could many writers and readers of Literotica.

This piece of shit was very instrumental in the abandonment of approximately 2200 us prisoners of war during/after the Vietnam War........fuck him!!! may lucifer himself torment this human shit bucket for ever... wasn't it mount Etna that erupted a few days ago or was that one of lucifer's demons in a chariot to collect his rotting soul????

I agree that reciting the Gettysburg Address is impressive, but have you seen Deadpool's death soliloquy at the end of Deadpool 2?

What is that? I am interested to know. The soliloquy I know as many |Chinese do is none other than that of Hamlet. But with so many versions of Chinese translation, it is still not easy to fully understand the true meaning of the prince.

My point is it is not easy for people of different backgrounds or countries to know well each other and that if there is such people who love cultures of other countries, they should be respected and relied on in matters of great importance. There are also foreign scholars who know Chinese literature and cultures much better than the natives. For example, a Dutch scholar who made in-depth studies during the period from 1940s to 1980s on the sex customs of ancient China has opened my eyes and I find myself learn much more through reading his works in English than reading the original in old Chinese (which is more complicated than a foreign language).

I agree with your sentiments on culture. I don't know how anything else you said applies to Kissinger except that longevity, in its own, should be respected. To that, I also agree. I have not watched or read Hamlet in a long. long time, but I have heard on a number of occasions that Kenneth Branagh's version is exceptional.

You can find the Deadpool scene on Youtube.
