Sex & Shenanigans

Sorry - that was aimed at posters further up, but I couldn't be arsed to tag them, quote them whatever.

Morning!
Morning, Mrs Hangover 🤣
Yup, you know it’s G&T alllll the wayyyyy
Oh I thought you were having a bad morning, but that was much better!
She is, she’s hangin hehe
Actually she’s embarrassed with the whole wasted gin with lemonade 🤣

Indeed not!

Frankly, it's not even just the taste, it also wakes up awful stomach burn. So gin goes there with whiskey, cognac, brandy and such - none for me!
I don’t drink whisky much to my father’s dismay 🤣 I told him I love Jack D though haha

Sounds like a familiar order!

Purring
Sitting on you like a ton of bricks
Scratching things
Destruction
Violence
Attempted murder
Neither of these sit on top of me in any situation. I'd actually love them laying on me but that doesn't happen either.

Purring
Meowing
Playing with things annoyingly
Haven't ever seen further than that, they aren't quite so impatient.

With some of these drinks I can actually taste them as a mixture of nasty chemical - which they even are, they have chemical compounds you wouldn't want to drink if you knew them. Traditionally they appear there naturally, but sometimes they are even added. And they don't need to list what's put into alcohol, unless it's a strong allergen like dairy or nuts.

That’s wine 🤣 I don’t actually drink much. I’m a complete lightweight. Unlike my drunken heathen bestie @Wand3rlust 🤭

Hmmm. What chemical compounds exactly? Ones that come from distilling or fermentation? Do you work in food or beverage manufacturing?

I don't. But I've had chemistry as part of my studies and am not totally foreign with some substabces. And it's public knowledge alcoholic drinks are not treated as food, otherwise they would have to list all ingredients (though not compounds). I'm not even sure they would pass food regulations... Those are so much more strict.
Some of those chemicals are solvents like isopropanol or acetone (which is definitely one I have distinguished from the smell and taste of cognac).

I have a pretty accurate taste and smell, mind you. Possibly oversensitive.

TTB does regulate what goes in booze. Also just because you think you smell certain chemicals does not mean they are actually added.

PLEASE. It's not my own idea that chemicals are added, I wouldn't have imagined such a crazy thing. Can't remember where I read it because it was some 20 years ago, but I couldn't even believe my own senses before that.

Their existence in, say, cognac is however easily found in scientific articles even now. I've always assumed that's why they are sometimes added - as they may be even naturally present.

Please yourself. Just because your untrained senses perceive something does not mean it is reality. Maybe acetaldehyde? Just like some article you think you read 20 years ago.

Part of my issue is that I am off from work and do not like really leaving the house much. Also I like to booze it up a lot. All this plus there is a lot of football on which leads me to drink even more.

I have a fairly busy week coming up and then headed to NC on Thursday. I am a healthier person when busier. Weird.

Alright, so I have seen this show mentioned a bunch of times. I am going to give it a shot. Just started S1 E1.
Thoughts? The low budget effects kinda threw me in the first few episodes, but I quickly fell in love with the characters so all was well.
