I like Christmas lights but refuse to put them up until after Thanksgiving. I doubt I will do them tomorrow and in NC next weekend so might be awhile but fuck it lifes a risk.

No Thanksgiving here, but the "Xmas opening" is usually the last weekend of November, and I like to turn on the lights on the balcony about now. Just they aren't up yet, and it's too cold to put them up now! Around freezing point, even a bit above would be more common, now it's -10...-15°C. It's not like one can wear gloves thin enough to be able to handle zip ties!

But I'll get help on Tuesday evening to switch to Xmas curtains. Can't reach the curtain rail even when standing on a chair, need someone taller. And then all other Xmas things will follow

Do you think I’m mad?! I’m not starting a fight I have no hope to win besides, lemonade and gin doesn’t seem that bad of a combination.
