This a traumatizing subject and some of my families members no longer talk because of it but here’s the problem with Unc.

He doesn’t make a roux. We’re a southern family and the man can’t make a roux!!

So he just makes his noodles, adds his cheeses and calls it good. Doesn’t bake it or anything. Like a friggin simpleton and if you ask him “Unc, why don’t you just make a roux and cheese sauce?” You’re gonna get a whole thing about how in his day “wasn’t no roux money” and “ain’t nothing wrong with my Mac n cheese!” He just can’t cook, but won’t admit it 🙄😅

Omg Mac and cheese without a roux?!! … not appetizing at all. My grandma was the same btw! She would cook the noodles and then bake it with cubes of cheese and that’s it. Was so gross lol

My sister was fed 5 year out of date Kraft mac n cheese that was brown. Needless to say she got sick. She ate it to be polite to her father in law.
