i am 100% against the killing of ANY civilian innocent, be it by hamas, the Israeli forces, magats, russians, Ukraine, U.K, USA, China, anyone at all. I am also a realist and know it's always the innocents who bear the brunt of a country's ego, religious & political ambitions. I cannot pretend to have solutions since i am no diplomatic expert in decades-long violence between nations, violence that has beaten the very best minds intent on peace for all.

I've largely stayed out of this thread simply because i am aware of my limitations regarding the historical context and the sense of being overwhelmed by so much terrible loss of life... it's been fucked for a long long time and hamas' mind-blowing, terrible attack on Israeli civilians took this back into the spotlight in the worst possible way, all because of the intent by other players to disrupt the area (looking at iran, russia, the hezbollah and more) who used the history of hamas to exploit the situation.

Another thing whatever happens in regard to civilians being killed in Gaza, Hamas bears the responsibility under the laws of war. There has never been a war where there hasn't been an overproportion of civilian death.

Glad you're one of the smart ones who understands that Israel would not be causing this much death and destruction just to increase their Natural Gas supplies/ reserves by a mere 2%.

Israel have their own Zionist project, advancing it to take over the West Bank (what Israel's politicians call Judea and Samaria) and Gaza. Their politicians are not denying this in their words to their domestic audience, while politicians in America and Europe keep talking of "Israel's right to defend itself" as if they are the victims instead of the monstrous oppressors carrying out ethnic cleansing.

People see through the BS in increasing numbers, especially younger people. No doubt Democrats blame Russia and Republicans blame China (oh sorry, Tik Tok).

Where is the large Command and Operations Center under the hospital? The IDF has had full control of that hospital for 4 days. If it existed...it should be easy to find.

But again...Hamas has this new stealth technology allowing them to completely hide a "large, extensive Command and Operations Center".

Anyone ever work in a large building complex? Ever go to the basement? Ever see infrastructure under the basement? Ever look at how infrastructure is connected to common buildings in a compound? You would think...if you control the hospital...you could crawl through that tunnel to another connected tunnel....not just to another building in that compound. Amazingly...that tunnel doesn't do that. Do you know which outside Country built that hospital? Do you know there are blueprints?

People really should educate themselves

That's because you haven't developed a sense of scholarship and are not widely read. It was the international press that took that tour with the IDF. Every news organization in the World has a website and or a Youtube Channel. I've never been a goose stepping fan of Israel but this time they are right, and they are surrounded by the most barbarous people on Earth, barbarous not only to Israel but to themselves as well. There is a reason why the majority of Islamic countries are the most backward, poorest, and barbarous.

The most violent year of the conflict was 2015, when around 110,000 people were killed.[5] By mid-March 2022, opposition activist group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported the number of children killed in the conflict had risen to 25,546, and that 15,437 women had also been killed.[1]
On 28 June 2022, the United Nations Human Rights Office (OHCHR) said that at least 306,887 civilians had been killed in Syria during the conflict between March 2011 and March 2021, representing about 1.5% of its pre-war population.
