The 7.62 x 54R cartridge. Not sure anyone loves it, but it's not quite up to hate-able. Maybe close. Something I read once put it between the .308 and the .30-'06 in terms of muzzle velocity and general energy. The Tsar and the USSR certainly got plenty of mileage out of the thing. I think it's still out there being used in something, and at 130 years old, that's impressive.

I do know that if you misaligned the rims in the magazine that you'll do a lot of cussing while sorting out the jam issue.

Ugly, cumbersome, rifles that shot surprisingly well. I picked up two of them years ago for $7 each. As far as ROI goes probably one of the best investments I've made.

Mine also. I happened onto an auction site earlier, and the starting bids are amazingly high.

They had lousy sights, but so did the Mausers of the period.

No kidding. Retail prices are damn near $500 now.
You people sure think $500.00 bucks is a "lot of money"..

I just dropped $3000.00 (CND) on an 1886 JP Gemmer 10 gauge double barrel that is deactivated and will just hang on my wall.

You fucking guys are pathetic.

Hmmm, yeah, it takes a bit more than a pulse, done legally.
No training, no rigorous confirmation of how you are coached to answer the questions on the form, and just a 5- minute delay in making your purchase at the checkout line.

Oh, and you have to be able to make an "x" on the signature line.

Oh noes! So much money!

🤣🤣
Yes, Chubby is frugal, not sure if its by choice or reality....

Under the heading of sometimes it pays to be a garbage picker. I was hanging at the LE range this AM and happened to look in the trash barrel. And there were 200 308 casings in there along with the boxes they came in. Federal Match brass. It's not often someone leaves match brass laying around so I picked it up just to tidy the place up don't ya know?
Bragging about find $20 bucks worth of used brass.

They must be awful damn lax where you live then. The last few times I bought a gun it took about a 1/2 hour to do the paperwork and NCIC background check. When my wife bought her last pistol the system was so backed up she had to come back the next day to finish the background check and pick up her gun.

Either your area is pretty fucked up or you have never tried to purchase a firearm so what you are saying is here say or absolute Bull Shit.

You sound like you'd prefer requiring people to know how to read before they can vote. Or taking grammar and English classes before they can speak. Or proving faith before they can worship.

Our Rights don't work like that. For which you should be thankful since you're able to come here and post your thoughts and beliefs without being subjected to onerous burdens while attempting to exercise your Right to do so.

And prove they're a citizen with photo ID before being allowed to vote.

History has shown time after time that the ballot box is as, if not more, deadly than a bullet.

You are the most obtuse attorney I have ever communicated with, and I deal with multiple attorneys every week. Comparing words and votes with AR15s is just plain stupid.

None of the above can turn into a lethal situation dumbass.

So where is it written into your constitution that children have the "right to face death by firearms in school"?

You're about the dumbest of the dumb here on Lit. You say you deal with lawyers every week yet you cannot formulate a cogent rationale on nearly every subject you've ever commented on. Thus, it's probably not the lawyers who are causing whatever problems exist where lawyers must interact with you on behalf of their clients.

Case in point is that our Rights pre-exist the Constitution. You don't seem to understand that concept and instead seem to believe that our Rights are granted by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. That's not how things work. Our Rights transcend the Constitution and Bill of Rights because they existed prior to the creation of those documents and those documents do not take those Rights from us. Which means your entire argument is based on your fucked up nonsensical ideology taking you down the path of stupid once again.

And finally, we're not talking about AR's versus words/votes, we're talking about RIGHTS. There's no valid concept whereby some rights can be exercised without interference or restriction and some being "permitted." They're Rights and that means neither you nor the government gets to choose which ones we have.

Basically, whatever you think is wrong and I feel very sorry for whichever lawyers have to deal with your dipshittery on a weekly basis.

I am a gun collector, hunter and competitive shooter. I’m also a submissive bi, cocksucker…

Go figure, the dichotomy of man…

It's so speshul feeling to be in a national database, especially one that isn't supposed to exist.

Proving who you are prior to to voting??? That’s blasphemy!! Are you out of your mind?

Donald Trump is auctioning one of his Glocks. He does not have the legal right to do so, and nobody has the legal right to buy it from him.

You just confirmed that you are the dumbest attorney I've ever encountered. That ^^^sovereign citizen theory of yours is as whack-a-doodle as your contention that water is carbon based.

Not wanting to out you, but you're not actually Mike Lindell, are you?

“All persons are born free and have certain inalienable rights, which include the right of pursuing life's basic necessities; of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties; of acquiring, possessing, and protecting property; and of seeking their safety, health, and happiness in all lawful ways.”
^^^^^^
Pretty much covers the bill of rights.
