You Tube has been a huge help for me. I won't say it makes the job easy, but I've picked a lot of "DON'TS" there. That has saved a lot of time, money, and blood. LOL.

That is for sure. I have done a ton of stuff with old American cars. But now I need to do a cam swap on my Hemi Ram and it has been an really tough one. That one is going to take me a long time to get done. It isn’t in me to pay someone else to do it.

Unfortunately, where I live, the 4th of July is now about a month-long event. Fireworks go off at all hours. It would be nearly impossible to keep up with doggie downers. Freedom!

Same here. I have a pouch for her that I wear. She can be right on my chest, smell me, and hear/sense my heartbeat. It calms her. She will curl up in it and sleep. It’s the only way to calm her. Luckily, she's a little girl.

There aren't a lot of reasons for an oil leak of that magnitude.

Yeah I looked them up, so I would have some basic understanding of what they would tell me... some people take advantage.... it is a 2016 truck and paid off.... I hope it isnt going to break the bank

That is what I am thinking too.. just a little older than that, and a Suburban. I have always had good luck with Suburbans. Wait.. except for the fuel pumps.

With things the way they are now, I bought an extended warranty on my two main vehicles, and believe me, it's been worth it.

I miss the days when I could just climb under or into a car and do the repairs myself. With today's cars I cant't get to anything that I can fix.

I know. It is irritating and you need a computer to figure it out. My dad bought a old truck and fixed it up. Needed some body work and they fixed some other stuff with the engine (would start but not run) and new tires etc... he was in there and happy as a clam

My car is a 67 Mercury. If I had my choice, I would want to find a 86 or older squarebody Suburban. Much easier to work on, but for some reason they are getting harder to find cheap.
