Bridgette Wilson, who I enjoyed seeing as Sonya Blade in 90s Mortal Kombat and Arnold’s hot badass daughter in Last Action Hero, many other great movies also, is dealing with cancer. I wish her a speedy recovery and all the best. Hope others will share similar vibes.

No, this is the last Centaurette - the one who was forgotten. All the others have left with the male centaurs and she's moping.

But there's a male centaur who's been left partnerless as well.

Ah. Okay. I saw the original in a theater in 1966 and am still absolutely incensed about all the sanitization in the remake, and the sequestering of the pure art of the animators’ creative visions.

A related funny - a few years ago I was taking a college course in conducting. The weekly homework was typically to select a classical piece from an assignment list and take a video of yourself conducting the work against a recording of it, to be shown in class. One week I chose Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I tended to add little touches to my video presentations to tweak the professor and fellow students. In this case I stacked two buckets and a broom against the wall behind my “podium”.

You get the picture.

The reaction from one of the kids was priceless. “What’s with the buckets and br… OH MY GAWD!!”
