The map of Palestine in 1946 showed where the majority Jewish Palestinian population of the time lived, and it wasn't all that much land compared to Palestine's whole land area. Palestine should be for people's of all religions and none, and Israel could never be that because Israel is the Zionist project to enforce apartheid.

I think everyone knows that Hamas does not represent all of the Palestinian people. There are many more who just want to live in peace. The problem is separating the two when Hamas wants to hide amongst the innocent and lash out with violence at will. Likewise I think everyone knows that Israel has done things that make the situation worse.

The fact remains that on the day the nation of Israel was created there were borders delineated and there was land set aside for the Palestinians that would have made up a logical state for them. It was the Arab world that decided this was unacceptable and decided to attack Israel with intent to eradicate it. From that time forward there has not been a single moment in time when there was not some entity among the Palestinian people (before Hamas it was a previously more militant version of the PLO) devoted to eradicating Israel. Whatever one thinks of Israel it is not realistically going to consent to its own extermination.

Allowing a separate entity to thrive alongside it and build itself for that purpose would be suicide. What is happening and has happened in Gaza is horrible. But it is Hamas who chose to take the enormous amount of money they have received in aid and funnel it to violence. It is Hamas who hides behind innocent civilians while committing the terrorist activities that make it impossible for Israel to open the place up.

If Israel was dedicated to the destruction of Gaza (the way Hamas is dedicated to the destruction of Israel) it would be gone already. The people who oppose Israel's existence want Gaza to be a festering wound because that allows them to keep their grievance alive. If they were able to say fuck it let's stop all this nonsense, get rid of the extremists and build our society, what do you think would happen? The lives of all Palestinians would improve immensely and there would eventually be a path to peace and a two state solution (with the assistance of International pressure perhaps). But the desire to retake all of Israel and murder all the jews would fade. The extremists would be reduced to a minority group of fanatics. That would diminish their power greatly because their power now lies in the grievance of Gaza of which they are the prime architect.

He now has found video evidence that Hamas did in fact launch a barrage of missiles towards Israel in the area at the exact time when the hospital was hit.

Hamas claimed there were no missile launches in the area at that time.
