Israel/Hamas PB Tribal Fight

ah, well, Nazi's definitely killed babies (so we should have let the Germans win?). So did Hamas. I guess whose babies don't count. Don't really see your point.
The funny (?) thing is that before the start of WW2 the Jews were treated so badly by Russia that many escaped to Germany. The concentration camps were built as prisons / labor camps, it wasn't until around 1941 that extermination camps such as Treblinka and Sobibor were established. The Germans didn't go around bayonetting or eating babies as was alleged prior to that. It was a propaganda poster without any actual foundation.

Wait! You mean the US is a butterfly
Hypothetical.

Israel's consistent expansion has definitely exacerbated tensions. I will agree.

The global community has never applied much pressure to get them to comply.
What county effectively vetoed the world on their behalf?

Now? What’s their final solution?

I don't like the speculation, but can appreciate the questions.
You think they care about actual history!?
Alternative History is much easier to remember… and change as you need to

"Eating babies" was a hobby enjoyed by the Kaiser in World War 1, according to British propaganda of the time. Hitler, on the other hand, was an avowed vegetarian.

At the end of Sunday Mass our priest did ask for us to lower our heads and pray for peace and the end of all wars.

This jogged my mind and brought the incident from yesterday to mind and I just couldn't help but thank how they've been fighting, killing one another even before our Christ was born and to this day still fighting?!?! How and why would they stop now???
When people appear to be fighting over religion they are really fighting over land. The side that is unified by a religion has an advantage in such a fight, but it is often not decisive.

People who fight over religion are fighting over religion.

Land is secondary.

Religion is not an advantage

IT CAN HAPPEN HERE!!!

Now that I have your attention

Anyone who says this is full of shit and deserves to be told to fuck off.

Fear mongering is bullshit.

What will Israel's strategy be for invading Gaza? Might Israel cutoff Gaza from Egypt? or from the Mediterranean? Will Israel partition Gaza by creating areas that divide Gaza into 10 or 15 separate areas? The notion that Israel would try to control Gaza and its 2 million citizens seems impossible. Will the Palestinians have to flee to Egypt or the West Bank?

One possibility, if people can make it happen:

For the longest time, I was sympathetic to the Palestinian cause for a free and independent state, and viewed the Israeli government as the oppressors and occupiers. My views have changed, and it wasn't just because of the latest outbreak of violence.

The thing is, history of the Palestinian occupation has shown one thing: Every time the Israeli government tries to grant them some concessions, some measure of independence, or some autonomy, the first thing the Palestinian government does is.... attack Israel. Never mind things like, trying to build some infrastructure, trying to get a sustainable economy going, or trying to, you know, actually do something for the newly-liberated Palestinian citizens under their charge. The first thing any liberated Palestinian government always does, is wage war on Israel. And, should a third party government (like the U.S., Russia, the E.U, or China) attempt to broker a peaceful two-state solution, rest assured, that is exactly what will happen- again.

So as much as it might be tempting to sympathize with the Palestinian cause here, 1) They have never done themselves any favors and 2) Israel, much like Ukraine, or like the U.S., or like ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, has a right and an obligation to defend it's citizens from hostile acts of violence.

Take this latest aggression: Had the Palestinians launched an attack against military targets in Israel: Tried, for example, to invade and neutralize the Israeli army, raid their weapons depots, military bases, air fields, barracks, and their soldiers, then it might be more tempting to buy into the argument that they are only seeking liberation and independence from Israel.

But that is not what they did. They targeted CIVILIANS. Not the military. This was not a military exercise. It was terrorism and slaughter of innocents; and no cause can possibly justify that. So as of now, my view is, an independent Palestinian state cannot co-exist with Israel since they have no intentions of peaceful co-existence, or even military resistance- only hate and mindless slaughter of civilians.

A good summation of reality.
