Okay, okay-
So, the hat was a friend's. She was going through a nasty divorce a few years back and her ex pretty much forced her to go to Vegas and keep up appearances as if they were married because he hadn't told everyone yet and he hates attention on him.
So she went.
She was out in the sun and needed a hat.
She found the most attention getting piece of shit she could find and didn't even look to see how much it was. It was worth every penny to have everyone looking their way.
She's my hero.

Why do people do this to people? My ex fiance pulled the same shit. Jamaica for her sister's wedding (also, destination wedding people can suck a moldy dick). We'd already paid thousands of dollars. We'd been over for more than a month. But she insisted we play act so "not to take attention from her sister on her big day."

I went, I was civil. But I basically did the bare minimum every morning and then wandered off unless there was a wedding related event in the evening.

Even had myself a vacation fling with a gorgeous lady from Greece that I met while she was sunbathing nude two resorts down.
