There are several R's who have publicly said they believe it's not worth the effort because even if they come up with a smoking gun that cannot be denied by anyone, the Senate will not vote to remove. Again, solely because of political animas and ideology. This view may or may not be correct but the only sure way to know is to see what evidence there is and present it to the American people for their decision.

If enough people are outraged on both sides, then the Senate may have no choice but to remove. The only way to know if they are or aren't is to go forward and gather the evidence that this administration doesn't want to reveal. The only way to get past that roadblock is to open the impeachment inquiry which give the committee authority and powers it otherwise doesn't have.

This doesn't have to automatically end in impeachment. The question on whether it does or doesn't depends on the evidence the committee gathers. Just like a Grand Jury doesn't have to indict but an indictment depends on the evidence the Grand Jury hears and gathers.

Time will tell. So far the evidence doesn’t seem as robust as you claim it is. But we’ll see.

JFC, how long have the Republicans been investigating Hunter and Joe? They've been at it since 2018, 5 years. And they have yet to find the smoking gun. The ONLY thing concrete they've come up with is a minor gun charge and some unpaid taxes by Hunter. That...IS...ALL!

The millions you reference were paid to members of the Biden FAMILY. Where does it show Joe took any of it? AGAIN, show me the hard evidence! Show me these vaunted records that show Joe with a handful of the money from those dealings. There isn't any...at...ALL! But, but, but he could have! There is NO constitutional requirement OR House rule that says a vote is necessary to launch an impeachment inquiry.

WEAKER MCCARTHY is the one who said there wouldn’t be an impeachment inquiry without a vote, and then flip-flopped 11 days later.

WEAKER MCCARTHY is also the one who had a hissy fit when Speaker Pelosi legally, and by the rules, opened the first impeachment inquiry into the corrupt orange traitor.

But don't even pretend that this isn't political revenge, and so any evidence this inquiry uncovers needs to be undeniable. Politics is alive and well. There are many in Congress who play that game for their own self advancement. Gaetz is one of them. Lindsey Graham is another. McCarthy is one of members of that cabal too.

It's not that complicated to see that there are those frothing at the mouth to see Biden impeached. They don't care if the impeachment has any evidence, they just want to see Biden impeached because of political ideology and animas.

Just as Pelosi did with Trump.

I want to see the evidence. The impeachment inquiry will do that.

Time will tell. So far the evidence doesn’t seem as robust as you claim it is. But we’ll see.

I think it's fairly robust in what it shows because what we know can't be denied. Unfortunately, what we know doesn't go far enough. We know there's a connection between Hunter and Joe. What we don't know is if that connection is misguided overzealous family support or if it wanders over the boundary line and into the territory of criminal acts.

The impeachment inquiry now has the authority to get the JRBWare emails as well as demand the ownership of the bank account only labelled as "Biden." I think the fake email accounts will show a connection between Joe and Hunter where Joe was giving Hunter classified and confidential insider info to pass on to his business partners and foreign companies in order to "help" them.

The "Biden" bank account is Joe's. I don't know that, but I suspect it because of how strongly they're protecting that information when all the other account owners are known. When the impeachment inquiry gets that info, and it turns out that it's Joe's, it's going to be impossible for the narrative that Joe wasn't involved and didn't get any benefit to continue. At that point the media will close ranks and start saying this is all Russian disinformation in order to protect Joe. That won't work except for the diehard D supporters but they'll have to try.

I’m really baffled that Barr allowed Hunter’s tax evasion charges to lapse. Sending a Biden corruption case to Delaware without oversight? The amount of tax dollars that Hunter evaded is just a percentage of how much money went through his hands. SAD! David Ignatius just gave the democrats the green light to dump Joe and print media will support it.
