I do as well, but the perfectionist in me wishes she would learn to put on seamed stockings properly. The seam is off to the side.

My wife told me the trick to putting on seamed stockings is to FEEL the seam every few inches to make sure it is centered up the back of the legs as they are being put on.

High heels can be practical too, and not just sexy.

I mentioned this on another thread about stockings, but my ex-wife used to do a lot of cooking, and often had to roll out dough for the stuff she baked. What made it hard was, our countertops were the standard height, and a shorter her had difficulty pressing down hard on the dough as she rolled. I thought of building a section of countertop that was lower by a few inches so she could do that, but in the end, she found she could just keep a pair of high heels in the cupboard, and slip them on when she needed to roll out dough. Wearing them, she was four inches taller, and just the right height. No modification needed to her kitchen!

I admit, more than once I was kind of turned on by the high-heels-in-the-kitchen look. I might have taken her once or twice on the kitchen countertop when the mood struck while she was rolling out dough.
