When I was born 34 years ago America was 80+% white(which almost matches the Congress today)and the Congress was 90%+ white, because baby boomers are 90%+ white and their parents before them.

The pattern always goes that America’s representation slowly adjusts to the demographics of the current country, then massive demographic changes happen and then leftists say that non white people are underrepresented and over correct for the demographic change by excluding white people and then demographics change again and it no longer looks like white people were excluded even though they were.

It’s never about how represented other races are, it is about white people having too much power and taking away however much leftists think they need to take(equity). Eventually white people won’t even have token representatives in Congress, we will be 30% of the population with 0% of the Congress.
