Not Trump fans, but Trump voters

Its virtually impossible for him to win the general election. All polls show him stuck at 46% max. Voting for him means that Biden or any Democrat will win. Even if you love his policies, why not vote for someone who is close to Trump policy wise?

If you will vote for him because you want to stick it to the "man", well, the "man" always wins.

So in effect your vote is wasted and counterproductive.

Its time for all, including Trump voters to move on, he is still stick in the past.

  • Former President Donald Trump canceled a ‘major news conference’ scheduled for Monday at the behest of his lawyers during which he planned to present a report ‘exonerating’ him following his fourth indictment in Georgia for alleged election fraud.
  • He had promised earlier this week to release ‘irrefutable’ evidence of the Georgia ‘election fraud’ that should see all charges ‘dropped’ against him and his 18 co-accused after his fourth indictment.
  • ‘Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings as we fight to dismiss this disgraceful Indictment,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social Thursday to announce the cancellation of the event.

Sadly they're too wedded to that man. At this point I'd be a shocked if he doesn't get the nomination even from a jail cell. However I saw reports that a good sixty percent of voters that are dem and independents say they would never vote for Trump again. That math doesn't equal a win in 2024 for him. So obviously he'll say it was rigged and stolen from him again and all his idiot followers will blindly believe him again. I can just see the AZ gop wasting taxpayer money again and again looking for the imaginary voter fraud in audits all over again. 🙄

Whether you love him or hate him it seems, at this point anyways, he will be the repubican nominee. I would love for the reps to come up with a different choice that is not quite so divisive. If trump is re-elected it will just be 4 more years of the same nonsense of investigation after investigation and more impeachments. UNLESS the reps control both houses too. I believe his time has passed.

I do find myself in a quandary though as I have no respect for biden and cannot and will not support or vote for him. So where does this leave me? Either vote for a third party candidate or don't vote at all. Not very satisfying unless a strong, viable third party candidate emerges.

only racists support him at this point.

he's a bad human, a terrible father, a shitty husband, a shady businessman, a 2x impeached one term president, and habitual liar. he tried to get innocent black children executed and we know what he thinks about mexicans.

who hasn't he thrown under the bus?

The only reason I like Christie is because he's saying real criticisms of Trump from a conservative's pov. He's the only one on that side pointing out the emperor has no clothes. That said I wouldn't vote for him, because a Christie administration would be more tax-cuts and weakening of federal government-in other words the same we'd get out of another Trump administration.

Its virtually impossible for him to win the general election.
Dude doesn't even qualify. This in a non-starter discussion. I know this is an opinion piece but it probably reflects an opinion that the 60% who would never vote him hold, at least in part. I think this guy has the credentials to be credible:

I know he's popular among the remainder of the electorate but Trump's record begs the question: When does a morally bankrupt loser that has 6, count-em, six business bankruptcies, two impeachments as an elected leader and four indictments for 91 counts of criminal activity lead anyone with some foundational reasoning skills to a position as the leader of the free world (fact-opinion, fact-opinion...lies, lies, lies)? The poor bastard won't hang for his transgressions, although, imho, he should. Why do people even consider him a viable possibility? I'm flummoxed.
