these do not get crazychemgirl... panties in a bunch the first does
I'm not sure which is worse, the knickers or the wallpaper.
Fucking hot.
As opposed to pantsPanties as a word makes me feel funny - . It's just not said much over here... and probably the only time I read it is in erotica....
BreeksUndercrackers.
We call them granny panties...This is the separated by a common language thing again...knickers to us are normal...
The big ones we call pants. Or granny pants.
It’s boyshort all the way … comfy AND sexyWe call them granny panties...
Or as I call them... comfortable every day undies...
But surprisingly hard to find. I wanted to get some new undies, looked for cotton boyshorts and found like none. It’s boyshort all the way … comfy AND sexy

ETA: the big ones in your post, would be knickerbockers.
As opposed to pantswhich just makes me think of Granny Pants. I hate knickers too though. I think panties is a much nicer word though.
TrousersThis, by the way, was one of the big hurdles I had living in GB. Pants are just slacks to me. So, telling my female colleague that, "oh I like those pants" (yes I did, they were bright flowery things, very lovely...should have said slacks) or, "I really wished I brought more pants" elicits really funny looks. I'm lucky that they were cognizant enough of the "separated by a common language" (thank you ITV) that they did not immediately ban me.
I will also say that Brit use of the word "diary" still throws me.....
Asking all the important questionsTrousersyou liked her trousers.
Diary? Why?
I say pants or knick knacks. Although mine are definitely in Bridget Jones territory. Special ones are "fancy pants"As opposed to pantswhich just makes me think of Granny Pants. I hate knickers too though. I think panties is a much nicer word though.
Haha yep - noone says slacks... unless you are skiving off of work...Trousersyou liked her trousers.
Diary? Why?
For an american, a diary is place where you write your most secret thoughts...especially if you're a teenaged girl....Trousersyou liked her trousers.
Diary? Why?
I know we say we speak the same language…….but we do not speak the same languageHaha yep - noone says slacks... unless you are skiving off of work...
Your context clues got us there. LOLFor an american, a diary is place where you write your most secret thoughts...especially if you're a teenaged girl....
So...ending meetings with, "ok, we'll meet on Thursday, the 21st, at 9am...be sure to put that in your diary" is just not getting my head in the right place...
Why would I put this in my diary? It hasn't happened yet, it's not that scintillating, and I'm a 50year old man...I don't *keep* a diary....
(for the Yanks in the room...it means calender...)
Au contraire....I know we say we speak the same language…….but we do not speak the same language
I skip that part now honestlyDoes anyone else change into your fancy panties for like 5 minutes before you try to get some sex then change back into your granny panties right after? No? Just me?
Nope not just you!Does anyone else change into your fancy panties for like 5 minutes before you try to get some sex then change back into your granny panties right after? No? Just me?
I would tend to agree with this.Like honestly, TV lies. American culture and British culture are further apart than I realised.
Yep - commando all the wayI skip that part now honestly![]()
