Sex & Shenanigans

I have dark brown hair, I can't do light colors, time and process. I turned down blonde that my husband begged for one time. Did do blonde highlights though. And me as a redhead was a bad idea. haha
I had to start going light because I had such dark hair and bits of grey coming through I hated. And I couldn’t dye it my natural colour because I looked like a goth 😂 so as my grey started to come through I had my hair lightened. I’d never been blonde in my life!

Yeah, I've been dying/getting my roots done since I was 16. Gotta love my the genetics of my hair from my mom. I've had medium, dark and light. Yes, now that I have thought about it, I've had purple and dark blue highlights, but again, didn't really show. I just finally decided enough I needed it done.

I at least waited till 40 😂

Heelpful genetics i guess
genetics are funny. My father didn't start graying until his 40s, my brother began getting gray in his beard and around the ears at around 25-30 (much like my mother's family)... I'm 33 with no gray at all.

All I will say, as being the younger sibling I do have the better parent genes when it comes to hair and eyes!!! haha
Yeah, it's strange how that works. My brother has always had my father's eyes. But when I was young, I had my mother's eyes and they have gradually taken more of my dad's shape.... My half sister (same father and the oldest sibling) has always had my father's eyes... it's clear from early photos that she's a relative even long before we knew she existed.
