Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge she is not the subject of an ongoing DOJ investigation. Hunter is. I also don’t believe Ivanka is the subject of any ongoing congressional investigations either. The Biden family is. You don’t get to decide what topics I post about. Shokin was famously investigating Burisma on corruption charges when Joe Biden swooped in and demanded that he be fired, accusing him of corruption. Burisma CEO Zlochevsky reportedly paid off the Bidens to the tune of $10,000,000 for this service, per a disclosure from an FBI informant.

Joe Biden later bragged about having the prosecutor fired, and said it was over Shokin being corrupt. He did not disclose that his son sat on the board, or that Burisma wanted Shokin fired, yet per Archer, he had been contacted by representatives from the company specifically for that purpose.

The 5 million to Joe and the 5 million to Hunter paid by the CEO of Burisma paid for something and it wasn't Hunter's vast knowledge of the energy business.

Never. The evidence continues to mount that the real quid pro quo pertaining to Ukraine in Burisma was Joe Biden."

While pretty damning and circumstantial, at this point in time there's no solid evidence that THE REASON Joe interfered with Shokin and Ukraine was because he was being bought off through Hunter.

We can trace the money, but that's not enough. After all, Hunter was paying some of his dad's house expenses so the money could be considered sort of a communal resource for everyone in the family.

There's some buzz this afternoon about some sort of bombshell email, but it's sketchy right now and may not pan out any more than the circumstantial evidence we have already. We shall have to wait and see what develops.

It's funny that they don't realize it but the new Dem talking point about Hunter selling the "illusion of access" is an admission that Hunter was committing a Federal Felony.

The access doesn't have to be "real" or "actual," it only has to be sold as part of Hunter's FARA activities. Once that's done, the crime is influence peddling as well as the FARA crime.

Basically, it's an admission that Hunter was engaged in illegal FARA activities in order to sell the idea that he could get his father to officially act for the foreign national's benefit.

Whether Joe could/would is irrelevant to the sale Hunter was making, HE was the one engaged in the illegal acts.

It's a horrible thing to watch the entire Dem party toss the President's son under the bus in order to protect the guy who is more than likely the guy at the helm of that sinking ship. Not that Hunter doesn't deserve it, but hot dam that was a fast turnaround.

That means there's no "it was possibly never even sold" as a defense because the evidence is from Hunter's emails and telephone conversations. It's really difficult to claim it never happened or that it's all a lie when the words are from your own mouth.
