Biden partner Devon Archer testimony thread

I like the way you glossed over the main point, the Biden(s) lie.

But then again, they were just talking about the weather for the benefit of powerful executives...

He said he didn’t talk with his son about business. Causal conversation is now business conversation?

Hmmmm, good to know. If you are goin’ to change definitions of things we all knew before and claim “victory”…

HE DIDN'T HAVE TO TALK ABOUT BUSINESS!

That's one of the salient points. He only had to prove that Hunter could just pick up the phone and get him on the line for the satisfaction of the people bribing him for access.

Again, son talks on phone to dad…. Groundbreaking.

So excitable. Did Joe say he never talked on the phone with his son? Then you got him.

Please try harder 🤣

The new spin coming from the Biden camp goes like this: “Who among us doesn’t frequently get their dad on the speaker phone with business colleagues?” 😂

Well, it's the weather too...

Partly cloudy obstructing blue skies and creating an orange glow at dawn and dusk.

He said he never talked business, but when your business is selling America out to the highest bidder, you're more circumspect.

You seem you have a vastly different standard for the Bidens than the Trumps.

That's what bothers me the most in all of this.

The unequal application of Justice.

We all have a right to Justice.

Right?

Again, heard an actual recording of the Cheeto showing classified documents to folks. Have anything like that?

No? Didn’t think so.

I think the Times is just trying to get Joe and Kamala out and someone slick like Newsom in...
I don’t think that would work but it would not shock me at all if shortly before for the convention but after officially winning enough delegates to secure the nomination, Biden announces he’s withdrawing from the race due to an unexpected health issue. His camp could then award his delegates to the candidate of his choosing. Basically hand pick his heir.

Does the Cheeto pick his replacement after he is convicted and in jail? Joe might end up with a health issue, the Cheeto is just caught.

Theoretically, both parties could have a situation where they each have candidate that has collected a sufficient number of delegates before their convention to win the nomination, and then hand those delegates over to someone else at the convention. Obviously a totally far fetched black swan scenario but it would sure make for an entertaining summer next year.

But betting money is more on the heads in the sand party, continuing to back the Cheeto until he actually shoots someone on fifth Avenue. Even then, you still back him. Conservative bench that thin you gotta go all in?

The Nazi won’t work. Unless you do want to take the blue out so much just the red and white is good enough for you.

And I love how you glad over the real main point, "The source also reiterated that Archer provided no evidence connecting President Joe Biden to any of his son’s foreign business dealings."

But feel free keep yelling "shiny object" to distract away from that fact.

As I’ve posted several times in the past, I’m still planning to vote for DeSantis in the primary.

It’s called influence peddling. We’ve known for years that Hunter openly engaged in the practice with full knowledge and approval of his father while serving as VP. President Obama’s aides expressed concerns at the time yet Biden was allowed to continue as the president’s point person for Ukraine as Hunter continued getting lavishly paid to do nothing.

Is this serious question? Are you really asking when I knew that Hunter wasn’t selling his expertise in energy markets to companies in Ukraine and China?
yes and yes. quit stalling and answer the direct question.

The thing about Joe lying that he never discussed business with Hunter's partners isn't that lying isn't a crime (in itself) but that;

A) it's a cover up of the truth
B) if he lied so blatantly and so easily discovered, then he'll lie about the depth of his involvement and what the purpose of that involvement actually was.

I think Comer is doing a good job getting the facts out there into the public sphere. Not much hype or spin, just facts like; the witnesses testified to... or documents have shown that...

What he hasn't quite managed to do yet is prove that Joe did more than talk on the phone. Yes there's the Burisma tape of him saying that unless they fired the prosecutor they're not getting the money, but something else is needed to support the claim that this is what he was doing. Something with a more direct connection. Something which proves that Joe delivered as promised.

I don't know that the evidence of that exists. Without it, we'll get a House impeachment but not a Senate conviction and removal from office. Which, to my mind, is absolutely necessary. To me it doesn't matter if he's a Dem, what matters is that he's corrupt and the extent of his corruption is so widespread that our national enemies feel free to do as they please because they know that all they need to do is send in a few million to "The Big Guy" to get away with it.

This needs to end.

At least since 2018 when we learned that Hunter was being paid lavish sums of money by Burisma while his father was VP and Obama’s designated point person for Ukraine.

Obama is where origin of the current problem lies.

He was too inexperienced in DC when he was elected so the establishment kicked in to "help him." Obama was told who to put into what chairs, what policies to implement, how to do business, etc. because those behind the scenes knew best and had been around long enough for them to know and seem knowledgeable.

Suddenly the deep state was born and entrenched. When Trump was elected, the deep state burrowed deeper because Trump didn't know who to put into what departments so he was given recommendations. Just like Obama had been given recommendations.

And now our government isn't ours anymore. Not even the little bit we'd managed to hang on to because it doesn't matter who we vote for any longer, the policies don't change, the faces don't change, and the turmoil goes on without ending while the money flows to specific individuals who profit no matter who is elected or which party is in the majority.

While it has not been proven that Biden shared in profits from Hunter’s influence peddling activities, he’s definitely been caught telling some whoppers that he‘ll have to dance around in the presidential debates.

In the 2020 debates, he cited a letter signed by 50 intelligence officials as cover to make a bogus claim that Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. That claim has now been disproven. And he’s repeatedly made the laughable claim that he knew nothing about his son’s influence peddling activities. That‘s become even more laughable with Devon Archer’s testimony. It’s quite a reversal of conventional wisdom when even the New York Times joins the chorus saying Biden is full of shit.

True.

That however doesn't solve the problem of proving that he's corrupt. There's enough evidence out there that the majority believe it's true, but not enough evidence out there to prove his corruption solidly enough for partisan senators to wash their hands of him.

Comer has a tough row to hoe. He needs solid undeniable evidence of a type that will make even Biden's staunchest supporters walk away.
