What Polls Reveal About America’s Attitudes on LGBT Issues

For more than a decade, public polls documented the steady growth in support for gay rights and the rising acceptance of LGBT people. The steady trajectory led many to assume that public support for LGBT equality would move inexorably upward. Few public policy debates are ever definitively settled. Yet, when it comes to gay rights, polling seemed to suggest that the American public was speedily approaching consensus.

Until it wasn’t.

A Wall Street Journal poll conducted earlier this year found that forty-three percent of the public—a plurality—said that the US has gone too far in accepting transgender people, a view that only 15 percent of the public expressed just three years earlier.

The poll simply confirmed what more astute people already know.

Rightguide does not like gays. Or Blacks, Muslims, women, Jews, Asians, or pretty much anyone who isn't a heterosexual white male.
So he tries to find solace among people who are as angry, bitter and full of hate as himself. That there are other people out there as fucked up as him, is one of the few things he derives pleasure from.

Basically.... Rightguide has issues. Some deep, psychological and pathological issues. Venting his hatred and bigotry on this forum may be, to him, some kind of therapy.

If trailerhitch wants to transition because it will help him score more cock in the butt, I fully support him/ her and you should too.

Actually, I don't give a hitch about trailerhitch. Your obsession with that guy is a little bit unnerving, to be honest. I get it, he has his share of issues too, but there are far more toxic characters on this board...case in point, the hate-mongering fuckhead who started this thread in the first place.

Yeah? And a couple of stories down.. gun violence and mass shootings. But as I am not a subscriber to whatever the source is…but if it is something you get all hard over, it will be cross dressing clowns that are the cause of the mass shootings.

But since you didn’t bring it up, maybe it actually blames the cause- gasp! We can’t have that.

We will await you providing another thread with the text (since you clearly subscribe) …and waiting…

What does this poll say anyway?

There are a lot of bigots happy to say so in the country. That's it really.
Q2. Are you a racist?
Q3. Are you a misogynist?

How many more questions were there?

Can’t ask the racist bigots too many questions clearly.

Maybe they polled those at Cheeto rallies.

I'm sure there would have been similar poll results in Nazi Germany. So what?

Such polls are irrelevant to human rights.

Probably being perpetrated by ignorant minorities in Democrat-run cities and cheered on by the weak sisters of Marxism they've appointed to public office.

Yet 30 years ago, the same people wouldn't have cared about transgender issues, but would have been homophobic. I believe 19 US states had same-sex relations as illegal back in 1993, when Mrs. Doubtfire was released.

The people in these surveys have been brainwashed, both then and now. It's all about division so that people don't point their fingers and say "Look how the big business billionaire rich exploit us all". The ruling class say the same things about transgender people now that they said about gay and bisexual people 30 years ago, and now target abortion and trans issues by law like they did same-sex relations back then.

Why is it, that you never fail to demonstrate what an absolutely wretched, hate filled human being you are?

And no, I am NOT name calling, or insulting you. This post really speaks for itself.

Hate, predjudice and bitterness. What a sad life you must have had, to end up like this.

What cities aren't Democrat run? Seriously you can only make this statement because there is an above average change that any given city is run by Democrats.

Yeah, not that many city areas these days vote Republican in presidential elections, even in deep red states. I suppose Wichita, Kansas is one. Their county, Sedgwick County, Kansas, is still voting 54% Republican in the last two presidential elections.

vetteman has educated me on the lgbt+ community more than any actual activist ever could.

I started this off extremely rude then red what you commented and even though you didn't read it cus I didn't post it I'm sorry. When I say a city cus when we are looking up stats of crime or wealth or whatever you're not a city if you don't have either a sports team OR at least show up on maps. I mean the maps that think San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego are the only cities in California.

Actually, what it says is that the trans movement has gotten too in-your-face and that just turns people off to them.
