The same could be said about many Deplorables, not only on Lit, but in the general public.

In fact, the denial of reality, subsequent attempts overthrow an elected and judicially confirmed government, denial of the human rights of women and minorities, proliferation of guns, and repeated promotion of demonstrable lies are all hallmarks of a mass psychosis. So then, it becomes a matter of whether an internet forum provides a platform for promoters of this mass psychosis.

Matthew Brackley, 39, of Waldoboro, Maine, entered the the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and asked for the location of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office before shouting, “Let’s go,” according to prosecutors.

He was arrested on felony charges including assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers and civil disorder, along with several misdemeanors. He made his initial court appearance on Friday.
