I would hope so. Definitely every event I've been to in the South US. Well, for the men at least.

The women often get slightly more creative with shorts, different top types and all kinds of hats, boots, and belt accessories.

Oh there were so many great outfits at the last one I went to. It was actually a little inspiring - seeing so many unique combinations. Definitely need to mix it up next time
 
Part of me is glad nobody dresses up for anything anymore.

A smaller part of me knows I look great in a suit, and sort-of wishes I could wear one more often.

You do you... If you want to dress up, that's perfectly fine! I've seen suit and tie folks show up at local bars and just chill or with their better half at the county fair. No one minds.

I mean in general.

There's something to be said for a nice midcentury modern look, complete with a snappy hat. Though I'm probably just idealizing something I'd have complained about IRL.

...me neither.

I used to have a job where I wore a tie and khakis every day, but that's long gone. I'm in nice jeans and button-downs now.

Yeah, I used to do kahkis and polos everyday and jeans on Friday... I still wear my polo shirt everyday, but now it's jeans nearly everyday
