You won't find a six pager that's "look at mom's boobs" those are much shorter in general. I didn't mean better as in literally better because everything here is subjective, but a more involved story takes a better effort to come up with. I know for whatever reason they're very popular, but it takes nothing to do one of those inane mom rides on son's lap stories. I was asked why I never wrote one and try to put my 'spin' on it, and my reply was there's nothing to spin."Better" is in the eye of the beholder. There are mom-son stories that are longer and have more buildup to create an air of plausibility than mine do. There's obviously a large readership for those stories. Some of them do quite well. Your stories tend to be longer, and I think your readers like them that way, and I think you like them that way. That's a legitimate perspective.
But I don't think that's necessarily better. As a reader, I prefer short stories that cap out around 6 pages. I agree that to make a mom-son story plausible in few pages is a challenge, but I still for the most part prefer such stories to longer ones. That said, I went the opposite route with my 8-chapter slow build series that I published back in 2016-17. For me, though, that's the exception, not the rule. I tend to like my mom-son stories to be light-hearted, with a dash of fantasy and even a bit of silliness.
In the stroke market little effort can hit big numbers in votes and comments, but I have noticed they fall a little shorter on the score. Don't see a lot of 4.8 "Whoo hoo look at the size of my son's dick" stories.
