NYT quietly confirms the allegation that Merrick Garland lied to Congress about Hunter

DAVID STROM 8:01 AM on June 28, 2023

It took 21 paragraphs to reveal the most explosive fact in its story, but while the fact is buried, the New York Times did publish that it had confirmed one of the most explosive revelations by the IRS whistleblowers who are challenging the Narrative in the Hunter Biden investigation.

Well, according to the NYT, they have confirmed at least one of the allegations made by the whistleblower: that Weiss enquired about charging Biden in California on charges related to crimes he committed there (even federal crimes are charged in the jurisdiction in which they took place) and he was denied permission to do so.

This directly contradicts the claims that Weiss had complete charging authority; if he did, he could not have been denied permission. This is also supported by the fact that the charges to which Biden pleaded guilty were filed in DC, which is not the appropriate jurisdiction, suggesting that Weiss (who does not represent the government in DC) did not make the final decision. This is, at the very least, unusual.

The Speaker of the House said yesterday the Impeachment investigation of Merrick Garland is going to move forward.

Garland is a toady. The problem isn't that he's a toady, because everyone in DC is a toady for someone, it's that he's such a poor toady.

So, the NYP confirms that there's an allegation regarding whether someone else had charging authority or not.

That's scandalous, he deserves to go to prison for that.

We can put him in the same cell Trump will be in.

Certainly, if an incest-loving lawyer feels that a confusion over charging authorities is equal to unlawful dissemination of state secrets and election interference.

As BabyBoobs USED to say BEFORE the rapey, corrupt orange traitor was found civilly liable for sexual battery, and criminally indicted on dozens of felony counts - “They got him now!!!”.

👍

🤣

Dam dudly, you're right about this as much as you're right about everything else you've ever said.

Which basically means you're wrong. Again.

Not surprising.

nothing will happen

Garland’s account to Congress contradicts the account of the two IRS whistleblowers who spoke to House investigators under oath. Weiss has been asked by Senator Graham in a letter today to explain the discrepancy and I presume he’ll be asked to do the same under oath to the House Ways & Means Committee. Same for Garland.

Prior to the whistleblowers coming forward with revelations about DOJ suppression of the Hunter investigation, I saw a poll showing trust in the DOJ under Garland to be lower than it was under Barr. Garland certainly isn’t helping restore confidence in his office.

I bet he'll never be President now!

New York Post... Not the most highly regarded newspaper in the industry...
It was the left leaning New York Times, not the right leaning New York Post, that reported verification of the whistleblower’s testimony about what Weiss told the IRS team from an independent source.

Speaking of holes... Quite the dick, eh?

Lol, you come here, vomit all over the place, scold everyone for not cleaning it up as if you think we're your personal maid or servants, and think it's the rest of us who's being the dick instead of you?

Lol.

That is quite literally not what happened, Depry.

It’s too bad the pubs don’t hold the Senate also.

One or two of these new classless posters must be LUK :D

It wouldn't matter. The failure of "repeal and replace" proves how nutless the R's are even when they have a majority.

All they want is to point fingers so that they can rally the voters. That way they stay in power.

I suspect 1 or 2 of the sock puppet accounts are multi-user because they can't seem to remember what they post or what's been posted in reply and actually have gone so far as to deny they said something.

The luk account probably won't return unless someone urges him to restart it and he sees some kind of value or validation in being humiliated.

So…. To be clear, specific, and accurate…. I answer the query, “What is NYP”, respond to a toxic reply, and you go off?! Right…

Honey, you trigger easily don’t you?

OK, it was a typo. Supposed to be NYT.

They're too close together on my keyboard for my old eyes...
