I think the preachiness is needed … clearly people aren’t listening to what the planet needs. Like poachers wouldn’t exist if there weren’t people who paid them for the things they kill.

As someone who is a big proponent of lawful hunting, it goes beyond that but the market for rare/endangered animals/parts is certainly a big part of it when it comes to the more high profile poaching.

But poaching is also a problem when it comes to things as simple as whitetail deer, turkey, etc.. The tag systems and things like that are usually designed by biologists/ecologists to maintain healthy population levels to keep things the ecosystem balanced. Poachers throw that off, which is one reason the people who hate poachers the most are lawful hunters.

my family does that as well. But we also burn all/most of our trash and spread the ash on the garden.

It drives me nuts because their trash can is ALWAYS full. I dump my regular kitchen trash about 1once a week, my mom and dad dump theirs 3 times a week. How do they make that much trash? lol
