Blowjob advice?

Hi

I've had an idea for a story involving a 'mass gloryhole'. However, I'm stuck, having never given a blowjob in my life. My partner of many years is happy to give me BJs, but isn't a fan of the practice (her mouth is quite small and I'm a little bigger than average) so she can't really give me a lot of guidance on the subject.

So what I'd like is some advice and ideas from ladies who actually like giving head, please. What do you enjoy about it? Have you deepthroated? What's good, what's not so good? What if he's really big? Do you like it - or hate it - if he cums in your mouth? If you deepthroat, what does it feel like if he cums in your throat? What would you consider good & bad technique?

Take a look at my profile and stories and you'll see that I'm a genuine writer (approaching 90 stories on Lit so far) trying to do some research, and not just a perv. (Of course, I might be a perv as well... )

Any lady who contributes will receive an advance copy of this and any future stories if they would like it, and of course acknowledgements for their help (again, if they would like that).

All contributions (from ladies) gratefully received.

Many thanks in anticipation

Jack (Bad Hobbit)
To be honest, hun (because I lie the rest of the time, what is with that figure of speech?), I’ve nearly finished a story in which one of the FMC throats a giant squid, a horse and an ogre (all sentient, no actual beastiality involved).

You could always, you know, make shit up.

It's still not enough. A bad analogy, perhaps, but it would be like someone who had spent their entire lives in a small Great Plains town (I've seen them in North Dakota) trying to understand what the New York subway is like. They could read books, watch documentaries, watch Hollywood movies (The Taking of Pelham One-Two-Three) and still not fully grasp it. The noise level alone would be incomprehensible.
How far are we going here?

Unless our OP is a keynote speaker at the International Womens Deep Throating Conference, I think we allow for some second-hand sourcing liberties to be taken. (IWDTC however, must always hold up to strict peer review)

You are technically correct that the experience of the NYC subway is poorly approximated by non-riders. But there exists a wealth of other experiences such as tourists who have, infrequent riders (of means who "go ghetto" occasionally), those with disabilities/difficulties who are going to view it through a far different accessibility lens, those who know the pre-gentrification NYC metro and would write a far grittier experience than it actually is today. And this says nothing about how different the experiences are of different lines, routes, boroughs, commuter expresses, etc all at the exact same moment in time.

Writing is an exercise in honest approximation to meet the necessities of your theme and narrative. I'd argue the low effort/engagement by the OP doesn't suggest he requires the minutia we could suggest exists because life and its experiences are nuanced and complicated AF in retelling let alone recapping second hand.

Yeah, that's like the semen-filled bag I mentioned. It's still a dildo, even if is made of silicone. I doubt it's quite the same as a real cock going off in one's mouth.

If he winks at a male cashier, then maybe he's making some progress.
Let's not have perfect be the enemy of good.

The appendage does not have to be a real cock attached to a real human to give a good idea of what having your mouth filled feels like.

I mean I don't need to stick a cucumber very far in my mouth to know that I'd probably throw up from my gag reflex.

I say this as a confessed details whore who frequently bogs down the actual writing under the guise of "researching" for some hypothetical critic somehow even more pathological than I.

They rarely exist. And they don't matter. I'm procrastinating.

Perfect is the enemy of the good and such.

Applies to spunk technicalities too me thinks.

Given that this all started from a wish to write about a mass gloryhole, I think the emphasis on reality is a little misplaced. I mean, that's already a lot to swallow - even before anyone finishes...
This is the AH. We take spider threads of posts and poke, probe, dissect, argue, ruminate, and consider all minutia til the OP's parrot is long passed dead.

Like most of our drafts, 99.999% of it never reaches a page.

Probabilities are absolutely on your side but it saddens me to think of the lonely well meaning community enriching glory hole that might have been if only the AH nurtured it properly.

Ugly duckling to a beautiful swan.

Although swans can be psychopathic assholes so maybe you win again A.X. ;)

I’d bite, but frankly, I’m right in the same place as your girlfriend. Little mouth, big dick… bad combination. I’ve never really enjoyed it aside from the opportunity to act like a slut. He never comes as quick as when I do it, so I guess I’m decent at it.

You might have better luck running this question through personals, or ask the ladies in fetish if you’d really like to hear from women who enjoy the act…
Thanks for the suggestions. I may try them.

Yes, that's what fiction is; making shit up. And somehow making it seem plausible to the reader. The giant squid is quite a challenge, however.

As usual on AH, too far. To use another anthology, we're going to stomp this thread flat, and then run a bulldozer over it to make sure. And in five weeks or months, someone will revive it. And the OP still won't know what to do.

Actually, correction, he did thank us above, so maybe the task is completed.

I enjoy the crazy hypotheticals as much as the next but it's when it gets uncivil I get frustrated by the wild exchanges.

We've done ok today so I'm buoyed.

Still, it's getting harder and harder to dig the motivation for legitimate answers to what are seemingly more and more disingenuous asks for authorly help.

It's a shame b/c there is some legitimate higher level thinking/conceptualizing going on in the AH but rarely is it actually what is wanted (so never ends up in works which leads to defeatism in those individuals who are willing to give benefit of the doubt and honestly engage iffy posts/asks.)

I think we've said what he needs to know. Melissa sums it up succinctly. Sorry about that North Dakota analogy.

I hope this isn't in response to my follow up post.

You made a very salient point and I was playing a layered devil's advocate only as an invitation for fellow authors to think a little deeper than is usual here.

This place is untapped potential not lack of potential so I try to nudge it along when the place hasn't got me down with petty squabbles, overly tread topics (AI or "women ONLY tell me your thoughts") or similar foolishness.

It can be aggravating but sometimes you really do uncover some thought provoking gems here.

Why only ladies? (the assumption around these parts is gratification) There are some slight dynamics changes that occur when switching sexes but we are all more alike that we are different and dicksuckers of all stripes would have plenty of value input to offer, some even beyond hetero-normative standardness that is well tread ground here.

I was gonna say - the GLBT Chatter sub-forum has a LOT of discussion about cocksucking experiences.

Will the psychological side of that be the same as the average woman's experiences? Probably not. But then, the average woman's experiences with fellatio won't be representative of a gloryhole group situation either, as far as the psychology is concerned.

I was under the impression that strap-ons usually went in somewhere other than the mouth. In any case, it would only be an approximation at best.

I have no idea what the percentages are, but I think the mouth is fairly common for strap-on play. For a lot of people, penetrating/being penetrated is sexy beyond the physical sensations involved.

Fetish has plenty of threads that are female specific if that is an absolute requirement.

It is so flush with discussions, I was in the "teach them to fish" mode. (if an author can't be bothered to bounce a few forums over for research, highly unlikely they will put forth the effort to write a compelling tale surrounding/needing fellatio nuances and specifics.)

I'm impressed. Blow job advice to a detailed critique of the History of the New York Subway in less than two pages. Even the obligatory Star Wars reference takes at least five.

Anyway, I reckon the OP's got it wrong by asking only women. Don't blokes know how to do it better? Anecdotally, mind, I wouldn't know ;).

I thought I apologized for the North Dakota / subway digression in post #31. Perhaps I didn't make that clear enough. :( Anyway, the OP did generously offer "Any lady who contributes will receive an advance copy of this and any future stories if they would like it, and of course acknowledgements for their help." Sounds like a pretty good deal.

I don't think it was intended as a follow-up. I was suggesting that the thread might be ended by now. I guess it isn't. If you really want to see long threads, look at the Playground forum in the Personals section. People seem to post every sixty seconds.
