Its easy to become hostile when you offer serious ideas and discussions and are hit with nothing but asshole comments about how I am someone other than who I am, insulted by people who have nothing to add but decide to pile on to please YOU and others here, and haven't had one serious suggestion on what to do because you can't even define what it is you want to ban.

So many of these mass shootings the families have said they tried desperately to get mental health help for their loved one and were rebuffed only to have their loved one commit these heinous crimes. If a family member believes that someone in their family is showing signs of potential violent behavior they should be able to get at the minimum of a psych evaluation done, or better yet a 72 hour psych evaluation in patient hold. This may be able to offset some of these shootings by getting them off the street and evaluated and then if needed, psychiatric help.

I have no clear idea about how to introduce a clear, safe, not manipulated, evaluation for purchasing guns.

* Lighter weight and smaller ammunition than typically used for hunting, in order to make it easier to carry large quantities.
* Inline design to prevent muzzle rise and drift while rapid firing.
* Flash suppression
* Newer specs include shortened frames for carbines for close combat advantages.
* Accessory rails for tactical attachments.
* Rifling designed specifically for a variety of different weighted ammunition including tracers and armor piercing rounds.

Good points for many of those.




30-06 is a good hunting load, not typically used in assault rifles because of the excessive weight compared to 5.56 or .223.

I fully support banning semi-auto for citizens. Sure I’d have to give up a couple of my favorites but I’m okay with that if it means fewer of them on the streets. Personal protection works well with a revolver, even my 80yo mom carries a five shot .357m.

What good is flash suppression for hunting?

Are you okay with the SBR laws? Those need to go out the window with the GOP version of “shall not be infringed” or is there some legal justification I’m missing?

Why should it be considered constitutional to regulate SBRs and full Autos?
