Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

My right hand is mostly useless (yes, there is the softball, swing away Chaos)
That is interesting! I have always wondered if those kinds of tendencies are because of just having reasons to use the non dominant hand a lot throughout life, or maybe just childhood. I started playing piano very young, so have often wondered if that is part of why I can use my right hand as I do. And I do lots of things right handed, and other things left handed. Throwing a softball? I suck with either hand. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think most left handed people are mostly ambidextrous. I personally don’t think many left handed people cannot do most things with their right hands. Just my observation.
My brother was left handed and he could do almost anything 100% better than right handed me! He just couldn't sign his name with his right hand.

I think this is true. If you do something that uses both your hands your non dominant hand can gain dexterity.

I found older people usually are, but younger not as much. However, schools didn't used to handle left handed well so makes sense. I am seeing a new trend in younger folks, males especially, being more ambidextrous again. It is the fast passed action computer games. Left handed gamers have an advantage if they learn to mouse right handed while they key left handed. more accurate faster keying than those right handed trying to key left handed, but equivalent mouse times as less accuracy needed. My son is left handed and prefers to mouse right. He is more ambidextrous than me and his father (both right handed), but less than my left handed step dad (whose teachers would smack his hand with a ruler if he tried to write or cut or whatever left) He is full ambidextrous.

I feel like we actually have the upper hand (har!) being lefties playing guitar right handed. My left hand has more dexterity- it’s better suited for the fret board. A lot of why I do certain things right handed is because I was taught by right handed people. But I also can’t throw a ball good with either hand. Although my right does it a little bit better

I agree completely! Years ago a left handed childhood friend who played guitar pointed that out to me shortly before I seriously started playing guitar - and I am so glad I play guitar right handed! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

That makes total sense to me.

On my way home. It was fun, until migraine started to creep in, so I left 1h before it ends.

What I really want is a serger! No space to set up a workplace though.
I've been thinking of one, but for me the sewing machine is what I absolute must have. That's what I learned to use as a kid. And I don't have place for both.
Absolutely - I am in a great mood all the time again, like I used to be. 😊😊😊😊
This is so wonderful to hear! ❤️
