I tried, as did many others who were skeptical about Trump from the get go. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt with the hope he could become ‘presidential.’

Nope. Trump is a lying sack of shit. His first statements as president were lies about his crowd size and he had Kelly Ann Conway double down for him - remember “Alternative facts? That was the beginning of the Trump administration.

His track record of bullshit is clear.

In an update, Ed notes that Politico says the grand jury may not touch the case again for a month.

This has led to plenty of speculation that the case itself is falling apart. Today the Daily Beast has a story reporting that even attorneys who worked on the case feel it’s weak.

No one has seen the indictment, it is sealed by the court. Even Trump or his legal team has not seen it. So, the only felony I see are either by Bragg himself or somebody on the Grand Jury who leaked details of the indictment. It is a felony to release sealed indictment information to the press or to the public.
