Define female-centric porn. It’s because female-centric porn is rare.
Not a challenge. Just wondering.

I always laugh when I'm taking the London underground and the PA system repeats "Mind the gap" over and over again.Badly simulated Netflix sex is popular for women because it fills a gap…no, not like that! Oh no! That sounds terrible!
“Mind the gap” always makes me wryly smile, as does the mythical sign at the edge of platforms about being sucked off …I always laugh when I'm taking the London underground and the PA system repeats "Mind the gap" over and over again.
Thanks. I do. All the time. God, I love the fact that it's going to be summer soon...
LOL. Oh, it was, and so was Hyun, hyunny. Not entirely sure that was funny, hun.

Netflix has been bankrolling k drama since (I think) something like 2015. There is a reason so many of them are on Netflix.LOL. Oh, it was, and so was Hyun, hyunny.
I love some of the k-dramas. South Korea really knows how to do this stuff. Netflix could learn a few lessons from them.
Porn made for female audience. It would focus on female fantasies and things women find hot. As I said, female audience isn't big enough so I doubt that the amount of porn made for female audiences is anywhere above 5% (wild guess). I wonder if women really find porn so much less appealing, or is it the social stigma? I mean a guy admitting to watching porn is quite normal. Male teenager or young adult saying he didn't watch porn is considered a liar or mentally illDefine female-centric porn.

I’ve never sought out women-centric porn. I don’t know if being bi is a reason.Porn made for female audience. It would focus on female fantasies and things women find hot. Women on the other hand can hardly admit doing it. One more example of men shaping social rules to favor them. One among many I suppose.
It depends on the audience and, to some extent, luck.Women on the other hand can hardly admit doing it.
My impression is that erotic stories, in general, are more popular among women compared to porn videos. Thus I believe there is a decent amount of female readers out there, although still far from being anywhere near 50% IMO.I’ve never sought out women-centric porn. What about what I write? 90% of it has a female narrator and 100% has an active FMC with agency (maybe too much agency, my FMCs can devolve into Mary Sueism rather rapidly).
Guys seem to like it. Is it guy- or girl-centric?
Is me tying, teasing, clamping and pegging a guy girl-centric or guy-centric with me appropriating the male role?
Is my lesbian porn girl- or guy-centric?
It feels complicated.

I believe you 100%. A woman saying she watches porn is probably automatically registered as saying you are a slut and will engage into sex with the first guy who crosses your pathIt depends on the audience and, to some extent, luck.
I've had to end friendships with guys before because I made the unforced error of admitting that I sometimes watch porn and they took that as an invitation to attempt to get me into bed with them.
This is not intended as a general slating of guys - two doesn't make a trend or even a statistically relevant sample. But it was enough to prevent me from telling anyone else anywhere that wasn't nearly anonymous. I don't need the potential for drama.
I do believe there are noticeable differences though. If the porn market ever changes, I believe porn makers will thoroughly research this topic and hand us the answer.Trying to define women-centric porn is about as impossible as defining male-centric porn. A look at female writers here will turn up a broad gamut of tastes.
Are you channeling the grammar police?both hands?
sorry
If it's both hands, do they need to be small?both hands?
sorry
New York buses have an automated "Please move away from the doors" announcement, even if the bus is very crowded. I feel like yelling, "I don't take orders from robots!" There are also various other inane ones. "Hate has no place on our transit system or anyway else," repeats some lady with a "vocal fry" (formerly knows as a Valley Girl accent). The only hate I have is for the system itself.“Mind the gap” always makes me wryly smile, as does the mythical sign at the edge of platforms about being sucked off …
Most video porn (I haven't done extensive research on this!) is quite repetitive; almost any story on Lit will be better. My impression is that erotic stories, in general, are more popular among women compared to porn videos. Thus I believe there is a decent amount of female readers out there, although still far from being anywhere near 50% IMO.
My other impression is that female authors tend to write porn in a different way compared to male authors. Men are usually more descriptive with details, sizes, usually their porn is more aggressive and extreme on average. Women focus more on emotions during sex rather than on physical release and mechanics. Feel free to disagree with me, as this is just an impression I formed by reading plenty of the stuff written by both sexes. Maybe I am out of my mind here, yet I feel this impression of mine was formed and confirmed over a considerable period of time.

I sort of get that. I find myself trying to do both emotions and mechanics. Is that because I’m bi? Or because I often initiate sex? Or because - as above - I watch porn?My other impression is that female authors tend to write porn in a different way compared to male authors. I think we can safely agree that you are far from an average femaleI like porn! And I write porn, not erotica.

Or - most likely - because for years I detached sex from relationships. Maybe that’s not such a female thing to do (on average)?

I could take that at least three ways (just like in real lifeI think we can safely agree that you are far from an average female![]()
What's the difference between porn and erotica? Just wondering.I like porn! And I write porn, not erotica.
Or it's maturity. The younger me liked sex, sex, sex. The older me likes the intimacy, the emotions of sex with someone you're connected to.I sort of get that. Yeah, as well as having issues with self-worth I could also not get into sex for fun. It might have been my ridiculous stamina but I could go for so long it’d get boring, like a tedious aerobic workout.I like porn! And I write porn, not erotica.
