Oh, that's easier. It's a cheap series that can be shot largely on location, with minimal special effects keeping the budget way down. In terms of production costs, it's likely not far off from something like a reality TV show. There are no big stars, directors, or producers tied to it. It costs them almost nothing, so even if they have the standard contract, as Netflix shifts towards having to pay more of the production costs, they're still not paying much. It still just comes down to financials.None of that explains a future Outer Banks season 4. It’s inexplicable.
