The charges should be at least as significant for Trump on the Stormy Daniels case as they were for Michael Cohen. It was all done to cover Trump's ass. So, really, shouldn't any indictment process for Trump in this case be at least the same as it was for Cohen? Did Cohen perp walk? (not that I remember).

What happens when you're indicted?
Depending on the crime and the criminal the process takes one of two paths. For serious crimes where there is a risk of flight or violent acting out, the indictmenet is sealed and an arrest warrant is issued.
For all other crimes (about 90%) the prosecutor picks up the phone, calls your lawyer or you (if you don't have a lawyer yet) and tells you you've been indicted.
An appearance is negotiated. If the prosecutor thinks you're delaying, they can pursue an arrest warrant. A normal delay is allowed for you to prepare for the bail hearing and arrange your bail or to get being released on your promise to appear.
You'll be booked, finger printed, photographed. In non-violent crimes you'll almost never see the inside of a jail or be subjected to a perp walk, it's a purely administrative process.
(DNA is not collected, absent a specific warrant at the time of arrest. In New York, it is collected upon conviction, not arrest. DNA evidence is not "public" until presented in court - and it's not relevant in this case anyway.)
Negotiations begin to set a trial date. Depending on the demands on the jurisdiction and the complexity of the case, this can be months or years out.
The prosecution is required by law to turn over to your attorney's the grand jury testimony and all other evidence they are holding. Your attorneys are given a reasonable amount of time to review the data by a judge and that time can be extended on request. (Discovery)
Prior to your trial their are multiple steps and avenues your attorney's can take to quash the indictment. Since discovery is the first time your counsel gets to see the specific charges, witnesses and evidence against you, you can mount an aggressive defense by challenging the witness testimony and/or the physical evidence presented to the grand jury in pre-trial motions. Evidentiary issues aside, you can also mount assorted procedural challenges to the indictment as well.
It's at this point you can also challenge an indictment based on it's novelty - meaning either you were singled out for prosecution when other similar actors were not, or that there is no case law to support the prosecutor's interpretation of a statute.
This period, between the indictment and the trial, is where a lot of cases fall apart for one simple reason. Up until this pre-trial period the prosecutor's case has not been challenged and the defense has not been able to mount any sort of legal counter or challenge. A grand jury is entirely the prosecutors show. (Even witnesses appearing are not entitled to have counsel present.)
A functional prosecutors office will have lawyers assigned to the grand jury process whose role is to anticipate defenses and ask the hard questions. (That's why you sometimes hear about cases where the grand jury was manipulated by the prosecutors office by failing to present all evidence in a impartial manner.)
The expression "often indicted, never convicted" exists for a reason.
*Disclosure - I've been indicted twice. Both times the indictment was withdrawn once my counsel advised the US Attorney and Court of our planned defense in the pre-trial period. (In one case an alibi defense, in the other case that we could prove key witnesses committed perjury). In both cases, the US Attorney reprimanded the Deputy US Attorney because they KNEW of the alibi defense and their unreliable witnesses and did not present either to the grand jury.)

I didn't miss it. He lied about getting a BJ under oath. Should he have owned it? Probably. Pretending that asking and digging to prove he got a BJ wasn't about preventing Gore from winning via smearing Clinton is full bullshit. He was punished for a BJ. Funny thing is while we found out too late 2000 really WAS a stolen election. The only question (and I don't believe they were I think they are better men than that) is if either Bush was in on it.
Like I said, I do not harass save for a very small handful of people who do nothing but harass others.
