Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

One thing I would have liked to do is live (half) self-sufficiently. That would really be according to my values and it has even been a special interest of mine, but unfortunately not something I am able to. My energy levels and initiative just aren't enough.

I found some 65% raspberry jam on farmer's market... In shops it's usually something like 30% raspberry, maybe, and more sugar than berry. This is vice versa.
I make my own blackberry-raspberry jam when I can get enough of each to last me a few years.
Every couple I save up raspberries from my parents and my uncle has a huge blackberry patch behind his house, and….

Blackberries aren't really a thing here. Raspberries are native, but from blackberries only a couple of varieties survive in the long term, so we aren't really used to them.

I plan on buying a miniature raspberry for my balcony (actually that specific cultivar in the link, as I found it for sale here, too). Plant it in a styrox pot and hope it survives the winter, too. If it goes well, I might add another one... I've always liked raspberries, but last summer they got a special meaning 😌

Seems like I'm going crazy over my balcony plantings. AGAIN. Happens almost always. We'll see if I am even able to keep alive what I plant this year... If I not, maybe I'll then have to more sense next year.

I've been trying to make good food choices lately but this thread is making me want to run to the bakery like NOW!!!!!
Try baking something healthy AND delicious. @B2fromA2looking4U Where was that muffin recipe of yours? And that whatever-bar-it was took care of my sweet tooth for a good while.

Made me feel a lot better than those monks afterwards.
