Although, I'll have you know, part of why I was slow was that when I googled "tea" it kept autocorrecting to teams....
never does that with coffee....

We did the International Baccalaureate. Almost everybody had travelled abroad by the end of HS if not even before even starting. IB is no talent school per se, but it was one of the wanted ones, so in effect our class was well above average.

I'm certainly the first one to be a widow, though not yet in our last reunion. Not many singles it seems. Not that it makes any difference, I wasn't ever the popular one. Now that I know of Asperger's I can understand why, but in my old class I at least feel accepted - they take me as I am. Or, well, as I appeared to be. Have been heavily masking since childhood.

Asberger's is tough; not well understood, but that explains a lot. Maybe you wont have to mask much longer?

Asberger's is tough; not well understood, but that explains a lot. Maybe you wont have to mask much longer?

In many situations I do, to be fit in at all. Aloin it's hard not to - it's already so deeply ingrained. I don't even really know myself without masking. There are few people with whom I don't mask.

What is a fragel? This is a fragel - way too many calories but so good when you need comfort food.

Actually looks like something we here call a "monk". Kind of deepfried bun ring rolled in sugar once it's been fried.

We have also the version that's not a finger but a ball - those have a filling, raspberry or apple jam usually.

Donught batter is different, though. You can find both here, although donughts are not as common. These "monks" are traditional.

Kinda like a long donut with maple icing on top. Sprinkled with bacon bits.
