I did Vocaroo once. I'm not a big talker (as my wife will tell you) but can be very chatty with the written word. Since I don't talk a lot my voice sounds very scratchy or raspy, and is much higher pitched than I like, although I can smooth things out with effort.

My wife actually thinks I should do voice work (!)
